Meaning of dogs

Post by sierrasun on Wed Aug 13, 2008 6:29 am

I have had a couple of dreams where a dog turned into a person.

The last one I had was I was in church and 2 big dogs like a great dane walked up on the platform. One was white and the other was brown. The brown one once it was on the platform was gone, the white one turned into the Pastor.

Any help I would be grateful.

Sometimes dogs can mean actual physical attacks or the threat of some; dogs can even resemble their owners (ie:mannerisms/behaviors). for example, lets say you have a sibling that is shy and reserved in real life. In your dream, she may be represented as a dog that hides behind a tree with her face turned away from a crowd or is a loner. My question to you: Who do you think the brown dog represented? you mentioned that the white dog turned into your pastor (for me white suggests purity, holiness, rightness, etc), what does your pastor represent for you?

We just started going to this church and he is WONDERFUL! and he is a man of intigrity with a pure heart. I'm not sure about the brown dog. Once he was on the platform he was gone so I'm not sure. It could be that something was/is trying to creep in but once on holy ground it had/has to go.????

The 'pulpit' or platform is representative of "holies of holies" (you know like in the bible days where the priest would go to a place where he was only aloud to go inorder to pray for the sins of his people?)...Amen to what you said--all ungodliness has got to go when in God's presence!!!

When interpreting dogs in a dream you have interpret the dream not the symbols. What were your emotions toward the two dogs?

Mia

I'm a lousy example of a Christian but a PERFECT example of God's Grace.
