The Holy Spirit

Post by Gissy2 on Fri Sep 03, 2010 9:25 pm

When people say they felt the presence of The Holy Spirit is it always a "tingling" sensation and does this always happen while they are fully awake or praying?

When I've felt the Holy Spirit it has always been in my stomach. I can't explain it. I just say my spiritual seed is growing:)

Its like an adrenalin rush for me. I know its the Holy Spirit because I talk with conviction and boldness, or a great peace overwhelms me as I worship. And theres all ways the overwhelming joy.
The Holy Spirit can be a every day event, ya kinda have to learn how to look for him, then enjoy what he brings you.

One time I was so overwhelmed with depression, it was 3 in the morning and God said get up, go look out the window, I said in the morning, he said now.
What I saw was so grand that I mustered my first true smile in as many as 12 years. The joy I experienced resinates to this day.

I feel him now as I testify.

I feel him as a tear that wells up in my eye, as I see the pain of another or the world.

I think what I'm saying is, seek that personal relationship with Jesus and the Holy Spirit will overwhelm you.

Let me add that I hear the Holy Spirit as I read the Bible, you know when a verse jumps out at you and you see something that wasnt there before.

He comes in many ways, just listen.

I hope this helps answer your question.

listen to this intently and you will feel him.

seems like The Holy Spirit touches everyone uniquely. TF, I love your testimony, seems like you have such a beautiful relationship with The Spirit. Do you mind sharing what you saw at 3am? If the Lord allows you of course?

Its a picture I cant explain, Kinda symbolic.
It will lose much

I looked out the window, It was a cold winter night and a fresh snow was being laied, The Fluffy kind.
On the street in front of the house was a street light.
later I noticed, on the other side of the road was an old white church with a steeple
An owl came out of no where, (a snow owl with an 8 foot wing span) and landed on the road under the street light with the church directly behind it, and looked directly at me for a good 60 secounds before with 1 swoop of his wings lifted out of sight.
kinda one of those moments that was reserved for me.

And yes, uniquely

I could only imagine how gorgeous that scene was, fresh snow and one of God's creations, in white, very symoblic and you were blessed to see it. Even in depression God has a way of speaking to His children, He deeply loves you.

Gissy, I was asking Yah tonight if He had ever spoken to me when I was growing up... I believe He is saying that He did through you... But I also want to know how He did!

I believe God talks to all of us thru-out our lives. But I am confused, how did God speak thru me to you? Was it something I said?
