please read this..i know it is long..i am crying as i write this so forgive me for poor grammar.

Just yesterday, some elderly christian friend of my husband came to share somethings about list of well know pastors being freemason or ?...kenneth copeland, jerry savelle etc..i was really mad..that i have to leave the room. (the pastors he mentioned are inshort my favourites)But now it looks like my husband has taken it in all!

Now this is the biggest surprise! my husband today is given credit to some new age healers/group that help him out of a mental nervous sickness he was about 20 or more years when he was a teenager in europe...and that those people healed him(he was almost useless) and that where were the churches and christians then..none helped him. He was saying he learnt some art of healing...(we got into a big argument that i said Jesus is the healer any healing that has to do with pentagon, esoteric, taurus, astral etc is devilish in sheep cloth..... He argued the people believed in God and was not doing any magical thing but astral, vibrations, acuputure etc. And he went on to say christian should copy such knowledge and add. I was so furious..how can you suggest that kind of thing..God hate any form of witchraft wheter white or black, good spirit or bad spirit. i told him do you not know what the bible said about adding or such practise. He was so mad at me that i am ignorant and proud and hypocrite and fruitless...and when on to critise christians, pastors ...that we all talk and not perform..even some pastors. Now i am really sad..who did i marry?..was he trully bornagain(he was mad at me for suggesting he was not a christian becos of the healers). I cannot agree with him at all..i told him. As i am writing this prayer request....i could only call the name of Jesus to help me to not to be ashamed or my enemies triumph over me. Please pray for me i need prayer support ..i cant alone. pray for my husband...and against evil or wolf friends. But especially that he would encounter Christ as the Lord or lord..because i dont know who i marry..his beliefs. Both of us are different race..we been in financial difficult since marriage ...i hope you have see my other posts. Let me just say I am so sorry to hear that you are struggling in this area. I understand completely what you are saying. When I first met my husband he was buddhist and Christian both. Of course let me emphasize that you cannot be both. You have to be one or the other. The Lord is avid about that. We had many discussions about how shallow Christianity is. Well from the outside I can sometimes understand what they are saying but as we all know that when we first give our lives to Jesus it is but a scraping of the surface of our lives. The more we know the Father the more our lives change. We are a work in progress. We finally resolved our issue and my husband now understands that our faith is much deeper than it appeared at first. He is a faithful follower of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. Fear not my friend. The Father knows you plight. Let us pray.

Father God,

We come before you today Lord to pray for our friends husband who is a bit confused at the moment, Lord. Help him Lord to remember the precepts that you have hidden in his heart. Let him see the truth of his friends he has at the moment.....let him see it and let that be a witness to the truth of what he is delving into. Forgive him Father, he is being fooled by the enemy......Open his eyes Lord, that he may see and his heart Lord, that he would sense your presence and that he would be tender toward you and his ears Lord that he may hear the truth and the truth would set him free. We plead the blood over every area of his life including his heart and mind. I pray that you would give our friend here a conviction to continue to speak the truth about you, no matter what. It says in your word that a man that is willing to lose all for the cause of Christ will be rewarded. Father we bless this marriage with your peace, love and joy that they may be fulfilled and serve you according to your plans and purpose. We give you all the praise honor and glory, in Jesus name, Amen

Dream3, don't argue with your husband regarding this. It only makes matters worse. You are the one with the truth and you have nothing to prove. Arguing only adds fuel to the fire. We are commanded to stay away from "foolish disputes".

But avoid foolish and ignorant disputes, knowing that they generate strife. (2 Timothy 2:23)

This is the time to let your light shine because as we ALL know, eventually your husband will come back to his right spiritual mind. Be patient...God is at work!!
