Ship or Boat?

Post by sC0rCh3d on Thu Oct 09, 2008 9:56 pm

what does being on a Ship mean?

as opposed to being in a car, because they are of course, different modes of transportation.

i wish i knew that one resolution...i have those dreams alot. i would guess that its better because it floats on water which represents the Holy Spirit and if you're on a boat thats being directed by the water..then it could mean we are being led by the Holy Spirit. but i need to pray about it some more...i've had those dreams a lot lately.
hope this helps,
Daph

Let's say a boat.... what is the difference, none. It is the same as a car except the added element of water. So depending on the water, the ship is foretelling a period of your life represented by the boat ride and the condition of your life will be represented by the condition of the water.

I hope its okay to join in on something I have also been getting about boats and ships too:) Just my 2 cents worth. If it is a row boat, it would mean works of the flesh powered by man, amen! Depending on what kind of ship could mean different things as well....also depending on if you are on a sea/ocean or if you on on a lake...Is the water clean and pure or it filthy? A car perhaps may mean a personal ministry- one on one- with someone, verses say a large semi - scratching chin
just thought I would share! praiseGod

I agree. A power boat in my dream represented God giving me power. Clean and pure or turbulent, troubled, etc, water is what I meant by the condition of the water. So, yup, yup. That was good thank you for sharing!

I have heard it often quoted that a car represents a ministry but a car represents literal things in your life, while a ministry may be one of the literal things in your life that the symbolism can refer to, a car is not a symbol for a ministry, a car represents something happening in your life.

Look at a car like this: In your car equals In your life.

Cholette,

Here is an example. A very easy one. Once a person said that they dreamed of a person in their car with them. They were talking. She said she hadn't seen that person in a very long time. I said, Expect to see him in the near future. Probably two weeks later she did. Another time, I interpreted a dream with a girl who had coins hitting her windshield. Lots of them. I told her to expect a little bit of extra money coming her way soon. Shortly thereafter, she got a bonus of $1,000. Whenever I see a car, the message in the dream will manifest to some degree in reality.

what if you dream about people in your car and the dream is at least 3 months old and you still haven't seen them in real life?

Mia...what I meant about it being "deep" was that I had not heard it put that way before.

Now that you explained this even more...what if you are in the car alone and you are in traffic and it's raining with the sun shining? The road is wet and the reflection of the sun is so bright on the road that it's blinding? This is a dream I recently had after asking the Lord "What's going on...why haven't I seen some of the promises yet?" I felt as if I had the interpretation for this, but after reading what you just posted, I wanted to see what your prespective was on this one. :afro:

Tell me more about the dream Cholette. Use the worksheet at the website and concentrate on what was going on at the time and your feelings. K?

Amen Mia, I would also like to say the Lord usually confirms my dreams and visions to give to me atleast 2 or 3 times. Sometimes when He gives me the interp of a vision it has been up to 40 days later....I will say this latlely in the past few say 6 months the visions the Lord has given me are coming to pass quickly and I believe it because time is short !

in dreams involving cars, which are very few and far between, there never was any indication of WHEN, no time line, as to when they would manifest.

I can only think of one dream that I had that I knew the exact date that it was going to come to pass. I had asked God when a specific trial would be over (imagine one of the worst experiences you could ever undergo and it would be that kind of trial that I was going through the am-I-going-to-live-or-die kind). That night, after I prayed, I dreamed about a specific date within the context of a totally separate dream (which I misinterpreted completely) but I knew the date meant that my trial would be over on the date in my dream and on the date in my dream which was two weeks later I did indeed get notification that my troubles were coming to an end.

That is the only time when I knew for certain when something was going to come to pass.

My dreams and how soon they manifest change all the time. Some I have that took three years to manifest. Others happen the very same day. There is no guarantee, most of the time I just have to wait and see.

Hmmm...majority of mine have STILL NOT manifest and it's been over 12-13 years. It depends I guess! I honestly believe I'm in the season where many of mine will manifest...it's just a "umph" feeling I have deep in my being.

I was doing a search on the net about Dreams and Car symbols and I came upon a 'NEW AGE' site, I say this because there was a mention of
"Spiritual Counceling and Tarrot Cards."

However, what the person had to say about dreams involving Cars is EXACTLY what I've read in MIA's articles and other CHRISTIAN dream symbol
guides.

How can this be?
