True Flight

Easter Weekend, A time for tear's?

Recommended Posts

Across the Nation we are going to walk into our Church's and hear the same ole story of what Jesus did for us on the cross 2000 years ago.

It seem's that even the best of Church's dont quite grasp the understanding of what realy happened.
Sure, there going to tell you what he did then, is still for today.
And that's about all that will happen in most congregation's.
And that is why my heart is so heavy on Easter weekend.

How often do we see what has gone on in the spirit?
Is it so hard to understand that what happened at the cross 2000 years ago, happened yesterday, today, and will happen again tomorrow.
This is a spirit truth that God is a God of today. So why do we act like he's a God of yesterday?

When we look back to the cross do we see our self's in the crowd?
Is it so hard to undestand that during those 3 day's all man, woman and child ever born or to be born was standing in that field?

Has not the time come to stop seeing threw our physical eye's?

I beg of you, if you have not been to the cross, take a moment with Christ this weekend and let him take you there.
It will be an event that will change your heart for ever.

This is a very special time of year for Christ.
It's a time of year when he like's to give all his gift's to you.

As you sit in Church this Sunday, look around.
You may not see them, but there are Angles all about.
They stand against the wall's holding septors, crown's of many forum's they hold garmet's and present,s.
They wait there patiently waiting and watching for Jesus to say "Give that child a septor" or "Give that beloved saint a crown"
Then they walk down the isle and place a present at your feet or a crown on your head.

To often we are not ready to recive what God has brought for us.
This sarrow's him deaply.

This year I'm not waiting, I'm going to raise my hand and let Christ shower me with gift's.
If anyone ask why my hand is up? I will simply say "I have come to get what Christ has paid for"

Dont let this be just another Easter Sunday, but let it be an ever changing Sunday.

May God bring his Love to each of you this day.

This is absolutely beautiful TF!!! BEAUTIFUL!!!!

As people of God...chosen to receive unmerited favor...a royal priesthood...a people who reign with Jesus at the right hand of the Father...chosen for HIS glory...we don't get it.

It's taken me several years of intense studying and seeking God regarding the cross and what it meant FOR ME! My heart was grieved going in and out of church each week...serving in the ministry, yet not feeling whole inwardly. I cried out to God "Is there more than being a child of God than this?" It was HIS LOVE that answered me and led me to the right teacher of His Word that pointed me the right direction in the Word of God and the studying began.

Yes, I've been to the cross...I saw Him being beat FOR ME, not willing to call an end to it because He had me on His mind...I saw Him as they were driving huge steaks through his hands and feet, drenched in blood with ME on his mind. He could have cried out to come down, but he had ME on his mind. Yes, I have to make this personal because these are the thoughts I have now when I open my mouth and sing praises to Him. These are the visuals that I constantly keep in the fore front of my mind when I become discouraged and want to give up. Give up? How could I think about giving up? I have this life because HE DID NOT GIVE UP!!! How could I magnify everything the devil is doing in my life and not give a thought to ALL THAT JESUS DID FOR MY LIFE???

Yes, it's a slap in a loving God's face when we harp on what's going on in our lives and all that the devil is doing and not realize that Jesus gave up his life/body...his blood, for us to live an abundant life filled with joy. It's a life filled with UNMERITED favors because Jesus paid the price already...yet, we don't get that. We allow the enemy to beat us over the head with everything that we do wrong...something that was already paid for.

This is an awesome weekend...a time for us to reflect, but to also take on and walk in ALL THAT JESUS DID FOR US!!!!! The peace and the joy...ALL OF IT! We bless you Lord because we all know and MUST recognize that if it wasn't for what you had done for us, we would NOT be here.

We worship YOU Almighty God!!!!

Awesome word Flight! God is so good to us. I will be lifting my hands and receiving his gifts for me.

The cross was not an easy path for Christ, even he asked that the Lord remove this cup from him, but he continued and persevered, and we a free today because of it.

The Lord showed me a rhema word yesterday. It goes like this.

I was listening to a sermon for communion in our nursing home given by the pastor. He talke about how Jesus was carrying the cross, and how he colapased and Simon carried it the rest of the way. It then dawned on me that there was purpose to that. If we are true followers of Christ, we are to take up our crosses, deny ourselves and follow after him. We are to share in his suffering. It wasn't merely that Jesus got to weak...no, he was giving us an example of how it would be to follow him and to carry our crosses.

Wow! I had never seen that before but what a blessing it was to see that even during the darkest hours of Christ's life, he was still teaching/feeding his sheep.

What a powerful and might God we serve! happy dance

WOOHOO Amen Amen! You took the words right out of my mouth Cholette. I was just telling my brother the same thing recently. How could WE ever give up? I know plenty of people who DO give up and struggle and I always pray for them. But I just can't do that...He's done SOOO much for ME. I'm in a place in my life right now where my heart aches for MORE MORE & MORE of His presence in my life.

True Flight....right on!!!
