I was let go from my job!

Recommended Posts

This was a complete surprise and not a good one but God had to know about it and there must be a purpose. It was part time online but I did it for over a year and thought I did a good job! The company is losing money they said. OK so now what?
School?
Another job?
Wow didnt see this coming!

Well, Praise the Lord!!!!! He's got something better on down the road, Amen. He'll not allow something to be taken away from you without replaceing it with something better, Amen. How about something permanent, full-time, and much better pay!!!!!! Hallelujah. He will not see one of his bagging for bread, that's a promise, you keep holding onto God's promises, and his unchanging hand. Be still, and watch God move, Amen. Tell God what you want!!!!!!!

Sincerly, Halo

Sorry to hear about your job loss! Trust Him that He's working this situation out for your good. As Halo said, He has something better for you and it may be that that job would keep you from it. Consider it a repositioning moment to put you in the place where you'll receive your blessings. It may make no sense now but you will get the revelation. Trust Him as our Jehovah Jireh and trust His promise that He will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

big hug 2

By the way...I've been without a job since September and I've had EVERY need met and have not had to borrow a dime. Stand in your Righteousness and KNOW that you are an HEIR of Jesus Christ!!! Your NEW job is on the way...FEAR NOT!

yep, I know how you feel. i was without a job for about 13 months and just worked my first day of the new job. Hallelujah. It is a small job, very little pay, no beginning benefits, but the LORD DOES NOT DESPISE SMALL BEGINNINGS. The beautiful part is that when i was fasting and praying and giving thanks the other day, as I was thanking Him for all the beautiful provision, the spirit came on me so strong that I began to shake and laugh. Then the phone ring, and they told me to come on in on Friday. How Lovely!!!! The Lord never allows a door to be closed without another taking its place, even if, say, it is for chastening that He allows it. Or any other purpose. Walk in trust. And I mean trust. I didn't even have a foodstamp or unemployment coming in.

Oh Lightbeam, can you tell me where that scripture is about not despising small beginnings (if it is a scripture). I was trying to find it a week or so ago and could NOT find it. If you know where it is could you please help a sista out? Thanks!

Zechariah 4:9-11 (New International Version)

9 "The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this temple; his hands will also complete it. Then you will know that the LORD Almighty has sent me to you.
10 "Who despises the day of small things? Men will rejoice when they see the plumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel.
"(These seven are the eyes of the LORD, which range throughout the earth.)"
11 Then I asked the angel, "What are these two olive trees on the right and the left of the lampstand?"

Yep, Cholette. Here it is in context. God gives me small things and they always increase into bigger things.

Thank you Girlllll!! You just don't how long I was looking for this scripture. I said it out of my mouth one day to someone and they asked me where it was and I couldn't find it. I thought I knew where it was, but it wasn't it. I started to think I picked up a "saying" as opposed to a scripture. Out of all the things for you to say in your response to Justblueskies and it was EXACTLY what I was looking for.

To God be ALL the Glory!!!!! I appreciate you!
