Big Snake, Little Snakes

Post by FM on Sat Nov 28, 2009 7:40 am

I had a dream a few months ago that I am still trying to understand...in the dream, I was praying (spiritual warfare) in my house, binding the enemy, commanding him, in the name of Jesus, to leave my home, etc. I opened my front door and a huge (dark colored) snake began to flee from my home, however, after the huge snake left, I looked down at the doorway and just outside the doorway there were a number of "baby" snakes - very light in color. Any thoughts?

Just my opinion, but there is scripture to back it.

Snakes usually symbolize evil or the devil. Scripture tells us that when evil is cast out, we need to make sure we replace that void with things of God. Otherwise, the evil will return but will bring all its buddies with it.

When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes through dry
places, seeking rest, and finds none. Then says he I will return to my
house from which I came. And when he comes, he finds it empty, swept,
and put in order. Then he goes and takes with him seven other spirits
more wicked than himself, and they enter and dwell there, and the last
state of that man is worse than the first. So shall it also be with
this wicked generation.

Matthew: 12: 43-45

Thank you, Jorji and Dreamster!!!! These are both insightful interpretations - I hadn't looked at either way.
