DO YOU WANT TO HEAR GOD?

Recommended Posts

In understanding our dreams and how God is talking to us in our dreams, it is very important to have discernment in the spirit. if you are a new Christian or new to the concept of understanding dreams this site has training so that you will be walking through this training in the way that God would have you walk through these dream experiences...and that you would gain Godly knowledge. i would encourage all of us to continue gleaning knowledge by reading the training regularly.

The enemy is like a raging lion seeking out whom he may devour, Let us not walk in the spirit without our armour on, as i just read in one of "Mia's musings" . I want to share with the brothers and sisters here on this site, a scripture that explains how to sharpen up your skills in the area of discernment.

For every man who partakes only of the milk (knowing the word of God but not walking the word of God) is unskilled in the word of righteousness for he is a baby. But soid food (doing the word of God) belongs to those who are of full age, that is, who by reason of use (doing) have their senses excercised to discern both good and evil. Hebrew 5 11-12 👏 👏 👏

Doing the Word of God...not just Knowing the word of God. Doing the word is obedience to God....just pondering the word of God is like a baby....just laying there drinking his baby baba. the word was given to us by the living God to walk in it. The word became flesh and walked among us. The word is the lord of us Jesus the Christ. the Bible says, walk in my way and you will know the truth...and the truth will set you free.

Let us not be hearers of the word only but doers of the word. Let us by reason of use, have our senses excercised to discern bother good and evil. Praise God.

Let us reach out for all that God has for us, his children...He is a good God and Father and He has a hope for a future all planned out for us... 👏

Amen, Linda. This is something that the Spirit presses on me daily. Do it, do it, do it, even when you don't want to, even when it is not easy, even when it feels like it is going to pop a vein in you. Do it. I am still lousy at it, but better than last year. LOL, sometimes, I ask the Lord to show me my progress, but when it is measured against Him, seeing my imperfections in His mirror, I say, ok, never mind. LOl.

Oh I so totally get that " My imperfections in the mirror" thing. I am like don't even show me cuz I know it is bad. Thank you Lord for your Grace which rests on me.

Faith without works is dead faith. End of story.

Love in Jesus,

Connie

One of the things that I have been learning is that whenever I have a dream I must wait for God to confirm if the dream is from him because not all the dreams we have are from God. Many times I have had dreams and I have always not like to ask God if it is from him because I was afraid that he would not answer me or wanted to answer me. For the first time not too long ago God confirmed that he gave me a particular dream and he used the word of God to do that. I can only remember one other dream I had where God confirmed to me personally that it was from him and it had to do with me not listening to something he told me and the consequences if I didn't listen.

Ouch, butterfly! The Lord corrected me real well about ice cream. Such a small thing, but it was about how I got the ice cream, through cunning. I was a baby christian. The Lord immediately corrected me while I was driving. The Lord chastised me and told me about myself. I started to cry. I still remember, it was chocolate. I didn't want it after that, but He was like, 'naw, go on and eat it, now...But remember I am able to see to your needs according to My riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Oh-best believe, my feelings were hurt, but I felt His love over the chastisement.

My friend so loved the analogy (is that the correct spelling?) of the baby and the baby baba....that she told me, when she was struggling to do what she felt God was telling her to do (tithe)...(she kept reminding God that she wasnt in bondage to tithing ) but anyway, when she finally did start tithing...she said that she went out and bought a baby bottle, and uses that to puts ten percent of everything into....the baby baba sitting there on the shelf is her reminder to do what God would have her do and not just think about it!!!
