Under(bed)Dog

Post by lola21st on Thu Sep 17, 2009 9:17 am

My friend had a dream that he was in his bed sleeping and woke up because he heard barking. He discovered a black dog underneath his bed, snuggled in the far corner where it wouldn't be noticed. He reached underneath the bed and grabbed the dog by its legs and pulled it out into the open. The dog turned into a man. The man wasn't threatening at all, he was passive and apologetic as my friend was escorting him out the front door....

Hello Lola!

Immediately this scripture popped up: Matthew 10:26, "Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known." And: Hebrews 4:13, "Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do." The enemy uses the cover of darkness to work, but God is light in whom there is no darkness at all! (1 John 1:5, "This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.") I believe God is revealing to your friend an attack of the enemy. The thing is "hidden" from him right now, but will reveal itself, symbolized by the barking dog. I believe the dream gives your friend the answer to the situation when he sees it manifest -- BRING IT OUT INTO THE LIGHT! Light expels darkness. When light enters a place, darkness flees! When your friend does this, the threat will be diminished and come to nothing, just as it did in the dream when the dog turned into a man that was non-threatening! By so doing, your friend will "escort" this enemy out of this life for good!

It's interesting that the dog is "under his bed", which is a place of rest and intimacy...That could be an indication of where this darkness is trying to creep in...Just a thought...

Please pray on what I've said!

Blessings,

Sandra

Thats a good scripture Sandra!

Lurdys
I thought about the child's story when monsters are hidden under the bed and they only come out when adults are not around to intimidate the child? I wonder if there is something 'hidden' from your friend that of course he didn't expect or even think about it before until it gives itself a way? Its like immediately your friend realizes 'something aint right' and he takes action--which is good! Possibly someone that may appear to be a friend (harmless/kind) but IRL is not and has to go?! Much like what Sandra said, "the truth about the person's character will be revealed"?

please pray on what I've said
