Door dream. please help

Post by ahjavier on Fri Jul 10, 2009 8:53 am

I know this means something, I just don't know what. They were so vivid.

I had a dream that I was with two other people both older than me - middle-age-. The woman was blonde, in fact, I think it was Cat Deeley from So You Think you Can Dance. Anyway, she was wearing a bright blue dress. The man that was with us had graying hair and he wore a dark gray/black suit.

Anyway, all three of us were walking down a hallway towards the last door to the right. The hallways and the door were white and the carpeting was light brown. The woman tried to open the door but she couldn't. She started laughing. All of us started laughing. Then I tried it, but the man said "say shaken not stirred" and see if that opens. I knocked on the door feeling silly saying it. I couldn't even say the whole thing without laughing. I tried to open the door two or three times but I couldn't.

The man and I started laughing and he we were almost hugging and he was holdign my hands and we were just joking around and having a great time.

I woke up chuckling.

flower Any ideas? =)

A possible interpretation:

A hallway is symbolic of : Transition
Door: An opportunity

The man could have been God
Laughing could be symbolic of the Joy of the Lord

Are you pursuing anything in your life? Are you looking for an opportunity for something?

It appears, at the time, that the door of opportunity remains closed. And maybe the Lord wants you to remain joyful in the midst of this time of transition and waiting. He is with you, loving you through it all. The joy of the Lord is your strength!

These are just my thoughts. This viewpoint may not apply to your life situation.

You woke up laughing!

I strongly believe God wants you to be joyful. God is with you and He will lead you down the path He has for you, in His perfect Time.

Rejoice in the Lord always! Again, I say "Rejoice."
