Dear friends, the Bible tell us that we must honor and pray for our authorities (see Romans 13:1-7). I'm not american and live in Europe, but yesterday through a very impressive dream God had spoke to my heart about the latest events that include important and cntrovertial decisions [made and to make] in the USA, referent to Gay-rights and their persecution against christians; racism and antizionism; danger carried by the ultra activist; terrorism and pesecution against christians; the elections in Iran -and the resistence about latest results; and the threat from North Korea about a nuclear War. All of this without counting the economic crisis. All of this is somehow conected. The point is that there are persons placed in important positions that must decide for their peoples about this issues. So, please! pray that president Obama make wise decisions; and pray for his and his family protection as well. This is not my president (nor my contry) but he still being the most influential leader in the world. His decisions affect all of us, as well as his continuity and security.
If you have any doubt about this pray asking confirmation to God. I'm sure He'll respond your request.

Father God I ask you to give wisdom to not just our president but to all our leaders. I ask you to instill in them your word and your principles of life. Your word says you put people in power and you take them out of power. I believe everything is under your control and I am asking for your intervening in any decisions made by the United states authorities. Show our leaders your way in Jesus name I ask this.

According to I tim ch 2, let it be done. Yes, we pray over our appointed leaders always, because we understand that it is God that raises up and deposes kings, that we must pray that we may have leaders who make wisdom decisions and not knowledge only, so that we may have peace in our time, and we do this always without doubting and wrath. AMen.

Dear JJP, you are all right there is an actual conexion. I'm very surprised that this message was intended for me, and not for an American.
