Water, swimming and Cars??

Post by Lori on Sun May 31, 2009 9:11 pm

I had this dream a week or so ago, I didn't remember all of it when I woke up, but I have been thinking about it since then, and would like any interps you might have. Thank you!

In my dream I was in something like a swimming pool, maybe like a community pool because it was really big, and I know the edge was made of cement, but looking at the edge in the water it would be too high to just climb out. Anyways I was in the pool it felt like at a barge or a port, the water was blue like in a swimming pool it was a beautiful clear sunny day, there are a few people swimming and I was on my belly swimming and I say to this guy (maybe early 20's), you should swim on your belly to save your strength (though that makes no sense, float on your back right lol! ). Then the people point out what look like whirl pools (like a tornado in the pool, like when you flush your toilet). I see three of them, it's still beautiful sunny day, the water is still pool water blue, and I think to myself we need to get around them, so apparently I swim around them though it wasn't easy, it was like starting to get sucked in but blow back away from it and around it. Then next thing I know I'm down in the water, pretty deep down, the water now as I'm in it (underwater) looks like sea water and I'm looking up and see all these cars (different makes, models, years, even trucks) being dumped in the water (it was like someone scooped up a bunch of cars, over hundred) and just dropped them all in. As I'm looking up and see the cars just sinking down I'm thinking I need to get up there to get some air, but I don't want to because I'm worried a car will fall on me. Then I wake up. I had no fear in the dream, no real feelings at all, just like it was all happening, no big deal.

Thanks for reading and taking the time to respond!

God bless you! flower

Hmmm, interesting dreamy. I get what your saying w/the metaphores, but I suppose if I had any clue I would get it :duhh: . What would the the world at present and others careers sinking have to do w/me? Just curious, cuz I not understanding. As far as me, well I do know I need to change somethings in my life, mainly the whole time management thing, plus my sleeping schedule is way off - I've been praying for God to help that change. I guess for the change stuff I feel like I know what to change and how to change it, I just can seem to find the motivation to do it?? Not sure what happened to me in this area, I use to be able to put my mind to anything and get it done, now it's like I'll start tomorrow - though I know I shouldn't wait. Hmmm, Dreamy? You've done good - praiseGod

Well Mrdreamy, I do declare that you are on target - I'm drowning in my own procrastination. It's best to keep me in prayers, as I have been stuggling w/this since I had my daughter TWO years ago.

Big hugs - :bighug:

Re: Water, swimming and Cars??

Post by Lori on Tue Jun 02, 2009 11:16 pm

Before I had my daughter I could do ten million circles around anyone, multitask, you name it go go go. But then I had daughter, and the first few months were fine about 3rd or 4th month I was really depressed, I felt at the bottom, other than that I can't pin point anything exactly - Yes I was praying this whole time, because I just didn't want to go anywhere or do anything, see anyone (though I found great joy in my daughter's birth - never any bad feeling towards her). Part of it was the baby weight because I gained 90lbs in my pregnancy (I was thin before I got preggers), I've slowly lost 50lbs, and money was tight so I thought those were the main reasons for feeling that way. Then I would come out of it, for like a month, then sink back down, then two great weeks, then back down - it's a roller coaster. Now God has brought me a long way, I'm not feeling depressed like then, I'm still not thrilled w/my weight I have 40lbs to go but I'm much happier than before some weight came off, and the money isn't as tight, I just have no get up and go. Before I was completely organized, on a schedule, and I still prefer to be that way - I just can't seem to make it happen. I don't know why, I really don't - I pray and tell God I know what to do, how to do, now let just get me doing it. So no procrastinating on my prayers thumbs . I thought of post-partumn depression, but I preferred to rely on God rather than a prescription. I do feel not like the person I was, the only real thing that changed was me having a daughter, which is what I wanted and I praiseGod for her everyday, so there's nothing w/her. I know change is bound to happen when you become a mother and I welcome the motherly changes (not the extra fat..lol), but the whole not getting anything done (and it's not because of her cuz I have time to do things), I do feel overwhelmed like every project is too huge (but before I could do what I have now no issues), my house is small, and until there is a miracle to move, and I know God can, it's bit hard to do things cuz of no room, though I know I'm blessed to have things and I'm grateful for the home God gave me. I need to change, I want to change, LORD HELP ME!

Thanks again Mrdreamy - God Bless you! I welcome all prayers, and I thank God for bringing me through this! praiseGod

Thanks Doc, you crack me up rofl . I do need to exercise, it's a miracle I lost 50lbs, wake up sit on the couch hee hee , and drop 50. I did start to work out for awhile, and I enjoyed it but I have to go when my husband get home from work, which is fine, but then it threw me off my sleep schedule because I wasnt' tired and like now still I'm up till 2 in the morn, then two hrs of prayer at night so about 4am my hubby gets up for work I fall asleep and my daughter is up around 8am - sleeps and issue, I tried to stay up for 24 hours just to try and get back to a normal sleep time, but the sun sets, and I'm like lets PARTY - not really party, but I'm and owl lol! , not easy when the daughter is a morning bird (chirp, chirp). So yes my plump butt needs to get to the gym, I'm have no doubts if I get there I can loose the rest of my baggage rofl . I also want to go Raw, which is eating fruits and veggies - Gods food (at least what he put down here for us), but that's a huge lifestyle change, and well I'm always gonna start happy dance, so you see the plans have been made, now I just have to put them in effect. God's great! I love the support from everyone on here, and you especially :bighug: (see I made your eyes bulge in that hug..he he). Alright next time I'm gonna be posting a praise report!
:okay:

hillobeans 18 I feel you on the procrastinating! :coffee: maybe the cars are everything you want to do and haven't yet, just my thoughts. Dreamster is prudy gooooood. :cute: I'm reading this book about this topic. I'm not very far, but what I've learned so far I'm happy to pass on if you'd like to give it a try. What is your why for doing something. "The deeper and more solid a person's foundational whys, the more sure that person will be to succeed at what he or she undertakes." See Luke 6:48 thumbs You can deepen your why's through "Personal achievement, Love, Family & Connection to God." Love defined not as a feeling, but doing what is best for the other person. I've only read a few chapters. I also write lists if I don't do everything I don't beat myself up, but it helps build a drive to knock them alllllll outa here. kiss happy dance rofl :cmere:

sweet drm do share, I'm all ears! Thanks so much for responding. I will certainly take a look at Luke too! I'll try the list thing, though for me it's not knowing what to do, it's just actually doing it. But maybe the list will help, if anything at least stay focused. thumbs

Yes, dreamy my sleep routine is sad crying , I think if I actually went to bed at a descent time, I would feel better, I spend half the day dragging, eyes watering, yawning, and just longing to sleep - I say I'm tired cuz I woke up hee hee by the time I get any energy to do anything it's the time I should go to bed. It's starting to turn summerish here, so I will be able to get out and do somethings now, it's too cold most of the year to be out, especially w/a child where I'm at (midwest). I'd love to plant a veggie garden, but I would probably kill everything, not a very green thumb here, so the store work for me lol! . I love doing outside work, but that can be challenging when you have a child that is a runner, this year will be better though because she is old enough to play in the yard, and we got her summer outside toys already - Yeah!

Thanks guys - be blessed! and sweetdrm, please share that book and/or info w/me, I would really appreciate it!

Re: Water, swimming and Cars??

Post by sweetdream on Wed Jun 03, 2009 3:46 pm

hillobeans18, I used to have a similar problem with the sleep and energy only at night. duh What I think changed was joy back into my life. When I was married to a very bad man (abusive, drugs ,alcohol and unfaithful) life was not joyous with such a person, my sleep was like a rollercoaster. I did go to a doctor that did a spit test, yes I had to spit several times a day in a vile, yuck! what I found out that my daytime chemical wasn't producing till very late in the day. I don't know if you can take anything thing from my experience???? But, I did want to share just in case there was. :kitty:

Also I'm getting a book soon called "Younger (Thinner) You Diet" whoooooohoooo by Dr. Eric Braverman, here's an excerpt from the website I got it: What if everything you’ve been told about dieting is wrong? Dr. Eric Braverman, professor of integrative medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College and director of PATH Medical Center, has found that the stomach does not control your weight, but that weight loss actually occurs in the brain. On this week’s show Dr. Braverman will share with you how understanding your brain chemistry will help you lose weight, fight disease, and even reverse aging. happy dance happy dance :roflx: He take the biblical approach he is a brain doctor, expert in brain chemicals and christian. We are the head not the tail! Maybe this book would help you too???? It comes with recipes and I remember he said spices are goooood 35 nutrients in them, wow! Who doesn't want to be healthy, feel good and reverse aging??? lol!

Now for that book, it's called "The Greatest Man Who Ever Lived, secrets for unparalleled success and unshakable happines from the life of Jesus." by Steven K. Scott, those quotes in my last post came from this book. :book: Hope this helps, ahhh maybe your dream also made you feel like you were drowing from all the stuff you desired to do??? Just another thought that came to me. Hope this helps I've always held on to this, though we go through the valley, we just keep going till were out, we don't set up camp or reside there. happy dance praiseGod :bighug:

Sweetdream, your such a blessing! Thank you for sharing, it really means a lot to me. I have often wonder if I'm off like you were. I have had fatigue issues for sometime, about 10yrs it's been the worst, before I had my daughter I had every test done, seen several specialists, but none had me do the spit test, and I have heard of that before. Maybe it was cuz I was always tired, sleeping wasn't an issue, I could sleep anywhere anytime if I was allowed too. lol! But in the end all my test came back normal. But I may need to revist the doc if I don't get better soon. I have been really believing God for this healing, I even pray he shows me if it is something I'm doing or not doing that will fix this. So far, I'm still bewildered. You are probably right on w/the dream thing as well, similar to what Doc Dreamy said - I feel drowing in the everyday things I know I need to do, I feel a great desire to do more, like God has called me for something else, but this hasn't been revieled to me, so I've waiting patiently, I believe I still have more work to be done on me before I know, but this is an ongoing pray definately at least 15yrs.

I'm gonna check both these books out. I can't thank you enough, what a true blessing you have been to me. Thank you for taking the time to respond -I love how God works!

praiseGod BIG HUGS :bighug: God bless you!
