Fire in the gutter

Post by Paul RT on Fri May 15, 2009 9:15 am

I was playing with matches and started a fire in the corner of a house in the gutter area of the roof.

I went to put out the fire, but walked the whole way around the building and fully stretched the hose, so the water pressure was very low, but I put the fire out (only just).

Just thoughts. When I've had dreams about houses most of the time God is directing me to my body (I am the temple of the Living God)

31 Then Joab did go to Absalom's house and he said to him, "Why have your servants set my field on fire?"
Water is the gift of the spirit..where there is quarrels there is no flow.
However the dream is showing you what is the cause of the delay of the revival you are waiting for.

Thanks mbstudent & Lola

I am currently in dispute with my boss over the termination date of my pending retrenchment. I've been made an offer of employment which is conditional on me starting the new job 2 weeks earlier than my current exit date.

My boss is demanding that I resign if I want to take up the offer, meaning I will miss out on my retrenchment package if I do.

I am awaiting a decision from my CEO who returns to the office on Monday.

I'd value your prayers that I trust the Lord to deal with this instead of dealing with it in my own strength

In His Name

Paul

Father I ask for favor upon Paul RT with his current boss and new boss. Soften the bosses hearts to find favor with your servant Paul RT. I ask for your peace to rest upon this situation and Paul RT. I thank you in Jesus name.

Father God, today we lift Brother Paul up to You. Thank You Father for Brother Paul and thank You for his faith. We pray that Paul be strengthened in this time, knowing that You are working this situation out for his good. May he trust in You and not lean on his own understanding. May he trust in You to bring it to pass. Remind him to cease from anger and to not fret as it only causes harm.

We pray that you would soften the heart of the CEO who will make the final decision in this case. May his heart be filled with a desire for justice and not malice in Jesus' name. Exalt Paul before him Father and give Paul favor in this situation. We give you all the glory now and forever. In the name of Jesus, Amen.

I just received a phone call from my CEO. He offered me an early exit date, and I would still get to receive my retrenchment package. In fact he asked me if I wanted to go THREE weeks early if I wished!

Praise God and thanks for your prayers.

PS: the call came at 3pm when I was starting to be tempted to take action myself. Great prayer Lola!

In His Precious Name

Paul
