Blackout & arrested

Post by Paul RT on Mon Apr 27, 2009 3:29 pm

There was a natural gas (used for heating) shortage and I called in on a motor garage café to buy breakfast. The lights were all out there. There was a long queue and there was a limited menu because they had no power. I didn’t end up ordering and went outside. It was also dark there as I tried to find my motorbike and protective clothing. I came upon a park bench and was going through a leather jacket that I thought was mine. As I opened the wallet in it’s pocket a plain clothed policeman arrested me and accused me of stealing it.
I had to call my office to let them know I would be late in, and felt embarrassed about this situation, but confident that I was innocent
