Welcomed into Aboriginal Tribe

Post by Paul RT on Fri Apr 24, 2009 2:27 pm

I visited a coastal town and was welcomed into an Aboriginal tribe and took part in the ceremonies and taught about their culture. This included a greeting ceremony and dancing. I noticed that there were an overwhelming number of women.

They had a fire ceremony and the container holding the fire fell over, but it was put out, and there was no damage to the floor surface.

Everywhere there was a myriad of colours, and everyone danced, carrying multi coloured arrangements like sticks with flowers on the end.

I was introduced to one man from my home town. It was explained to me that he had recently lost his father. He gently scolded the woman telling me by saying that she shouldn’t have bothered me by saying this.

I felt overwhelmingly loved and accepted.

Thanks Peter

I have just been advised that my job will be made redundant on Jun 26, but have been shortlisted for four positions that I've applied for recently.

I'm hoping that the dream is prophetic, and that I will be warmly welcomed into a new organisation!

In His Name

How's this - the head office of the firm that has offered me the job is on the coast, and their logo incorporates multiple colours!

Paul,

Psalm 103:2

Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.
Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
