Crocodile Attack and Soccer Coach

Post by Paul RT on Sat Apr 11, 2009 2:26 pm

I watched a naked man get attacked and eaten be a crocodile in the shower. I ensured I had something sharp like a pitchfork to defend myself.

In the next part of the dream I was being coached by Gus Huddink the Australian soccer coach, he was working on correcting a problem I had with my body being out of balance in that I was rolling it over onto the right hand side. His wife, who was also an elite athlete, became involved, and I told her that I played squash.

Hi Butterfly

There have been several crocodile attacks in the Northern Territory lately (a long away from here). I don't know any of the victims that I'm aware of.

The dream didn't indicate a location to me, sorry.

It's possible that the dream was prophetic, but I'm reluctant to claim credit without further confirmation or evidence.

The interesting thing to me is that crocodiles roll their victims over in the water to make their kill (see the second paragraph of the dream).

Thanks for your interest.

Hi Paul, Yes a crock is a big old bad ancient problem. Sorta like Pride.

Now we both know it would be hard to kill one of those buga's with a pitch fork. Sorta like dealing a family issue ( a tuff one ) with mans wisdom. See while we try to overcome or shower off a mindset that old ancient prideful Crock shows up.

Then we get good Godly advice that tells us to stop rolling over on our right arm. Our flesh out of control leaves us vulnerable. And we make bad plays.

Pray on it.

Blessings

Hi Butterfly

I think he was screaming and fighting it off, the crocodile was a large saltwater (not long nosed). Sorry, can't add much more.

Paul,
Here are two ideas to consider:
1. He's an expert at soccer, so he's teaching you soccer. But since you're you're a squash player, maybe the advice he's giving you does not apply to your sport. This might mean that someone whom you respect (expert) will give well-meaning advice which would work for them in their situation (soccer), but their advice is not good advice for your situation (squash) because you will need to function differently than the advisor does.

2. Or, if your body being balanced the way it was in the dream would be incorrect for both soccer AND squash, then maybe someone will give advice and you will be tempted to dismiss it because the person giving the advice is not familiar with your field (squash) and is from a different field (soccer).

MMMMMMMMMMM........ Sorry but did I see mud being thrown. :funtease: 1 "Can you pull in the leviathan [a] with a fishhook
or tie down his tongue with a rope? 2 Can you put a cord through his nose
or pierce his jaw with a hook? 3 Will he keep begging you for mercy?
Will he speak to you with gentle words? 4 Will he make an agreement with you
for you to take him as your slave for life? 5 Can you make a pet of him like a bird
or put him on a leash for your girls? 6 Will traders barter for him?
Will they divide him up among the merchants? 7 Can you fill his hide with harpoons
or his head with fishing spears? 8 If you lay a hand on him,
you will remember the struggle and never do it again! 9 Any hope of subduing him is false;
the mere sight of him is overpowering. 10 No one is fierce enough to rouse him.
Who then is able to stand against me?

Sounds like the crocodile is not a good sign. They are also old world creatures. So they could represent a generational issue. ( curse)
You would need a sword to kill one. ( sword of the word)

A shower has to do with one being cleaned or cleaning skin or (flesh) .Nakedness in the Bible almost always speaks of vulnerability.

WeLLLLLLLLLLL IIIIIII NAH, I wont go there. But I will say this, one must have very good balance to play Squash.

2. Or, if your body being balanced the way it was in the dream would be
incorrect for both soccer AND squash, then maybe someone will give
advice and you will be tempted to dismiss it because the person giving
the advice is not familiar with your field (squash) and is from a
different field (soccer).this.

I believe God speaks to us ( in dreams) the way he requires us to speak to someone about His written word, in context. It is difficult no it is imposable for man to interpret dreams. Only God can do that. So who are we really kidding on this site? rofl

Be blessed

Thanks Darrell

I guess we do what we can with the Word and the understanding and maturity God has given us at the time.

My experience so far with dreams is that only with hindsight that I can completely understand their meaning.

What you've said makes sense to me.
