Head of wheat

Post by RnestseekR on Mon Feb 02, 2009 7:36 am

In a dream, I saw my middle daughter in a field. In front of her was a VERY large, VERY full head of wheat. She reached out to stroke the head of wheat (it looked soft) but asked her not to since I didn't want her to rupture the very ripe head of grains and spill them on the ground.

End of dream. No feelings attached. Nothing before or after the dream.

I have some hope for what this dream could mean, but I'd like to hear from you all. Good or bad. Interpretations or just thoughts for me to chew over with God.

Have a great Monday!

Is there something that your daughter is desiring to do that you may think that she may not yet have the ablity to do? Something fruitful? Missions??? Ministry wise? Just thinking as I am unsure the age of your daughter.

Hmm - good thought. She's only 6. But I still pray for God to begin instilling in her the characteristics, knowledge etc now for what she will need later in life.

The very ripe head of wheat seems to mean it's ready to be harvested. Even if they spill on the ground, wouldn't they become the seeds for new grain to grow? Maybe it's OK if she reaches for it and spills them on the ground.
What do you think? Does it still feel as though she shouldn't touch it?

I agree with unaday. Maybe the Lord is telling you that she will have the heart for missions are a ministry. Of course you know she is young , but maybe she will be good at reaching the lost , are brining a harvest for God . Maybe he is instilling in her love for the lost. It can't be hurried though, I don't know about the rest about you telling her no, except that you know shes not prepared for it yet but it could be part of her calling. What is her personality. What is she drawn to ? Is she a nurturer, sensative, ? It helps to know?
