My deceased mother taking out garbage

Post by silentqueen on Fri Apr 26, 2013 12:47 pm

Hi everyone,

I pray this finds everyone well. This one really puzzles me and I have no clue whatsover.

I dreamed my deceased mother (died January 2006) was in the bathroom bagging up the garbage. I said, "Momma, don't do that I'll get it." She waved me on ignoring me and continued to tie up the bag. I tried to take it from her, but she wouldn't let me. I left her alone to let her take out the garbage. I then woke up.

Anyone with any revelations on this, please let me know.

Thanks and God bless.

Does your mother's actions in the dream match her true character when she was alive?

Hi Shan,

Yes, this is exactly what my mother would do when she was alive.

Ok then. I wanted to wait for your response before I shared my thoughts and they are just thoughts and not necessarily an interpretation.

Is there something you are either holding onto that you need to let go of or something you are trying to do by yourself that maybe you shouldn't? I say this because my mother would do the same thing for me. She is still living, but she still holds onto that "mom" role and wants to take the burden off of me, even if it is a small thing like taking out the trash. Also, the bathroom can represent a place of cleansing.

I'm so sorry for the loss of your mom. I know how hard it would be to lose mine.

Please toss if it doesn't fit.

Shannon

Hi Shannon,

I think I am holding onto something that I shouldn't . I moved in with my Godmother two months ago. She is doing things for me that I wish she would not. However, maybe God is telling me to let go and let her do what she can for me. Sometimes it's the little things like taking out the garbage that gives her the sense of "taking care of me." The very thing a mother would do.

I appreciate your thoughts. I miss my mother very much and thanks for the encouragement. I needed to hear that today.
