It's funny but the other night I woke up from a dream that I should pray for a hedge of protection. I told it to the intercessors at church on Sunday.

Well, I have a forest fire a couple of miles from my house and I TRULY SERIOUSLY need a hedge of protection. There are hot ashes falling in my driveway.

Please pray.

I agree with you prayer that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, no plague or destruction shall come to your dwelling place. I pray that the angels of the Most High God encamp around you, your home all that dwell with you to keep you in safety. I plead the blood of Christ over your land and the land of those connected to you. You are the salt of the Earth, and a testimony for mercy of God. God is with you. Blessings.

It looks like it's out! Sorry for not getting back. I got a horrible stomach flu that night and was down for a couple of days.

God is faithful!!!!!!

He sure is, Cholette.

We have had so little rain where I live its the reason for the brush fire. We've had a day or so of rain per month for like the last six months, AND THAT IS IT.

So, God tells me to pray about a hedge of protection.

Then, the fire hits.

Then, two days later a front capable of producing tornadoes, pounding rains, hail, and winds all around us is supposed to take two full days to come through and does; tornado warnings everywhere; and everywhere above us and below us is getting pounded by storms. My dad keeps showing me the storm on radar as it is coming through and it's covering the entire central part of Florida where we live. It looks like we are going to get hammered.

I'm thinking about the tornado warnings and the winds that come from these storms because the last time my vegetable plants took a beating, and then God reminds me that I had a dream I'm going to have bountiful sweet pepper harvest - which is His waying of saying there won't even be enough wind from these storms to damage your tender pepper plants - which tend to snap easily.

And, so I go back to bed (sick with the flu) and don't worry one bit.

When it was over, we only had enough rain from these massive storms to put out the brush fire entirely and water our grass and gardens (which grew like six inches in two days to boot).

My dad says, 'Wow. Everywhere around us is getting pounded and its like we've got something protecting us.'

I told him about my dream about praying for a hedge of protection and then I said, 'Not something, Dad. We've got Someone.'

GOD is TRULY amazing.

Words of faith can sure stop a storm! That reminds me a situation few weeks ago when I was going to another town (about 20 min on a highway from my town) and about 10 km tlll my exit a storm hit us. It was a total white-out. Snow fell down on us like a wall. I could barely see a car infront of me. I rebuked the storm, boud it in Jesus' Name, turned off the highway. 15 minutes later the storm stopped and not only that, every single could left the sky. And the forecast for the rest of the day was SNOW! I drove back home with BLUE SKY and sun shining brightly above me :-) And all I heard from everyone was - "That was STRANGE! It was snowing soo badly and so suddenly stopped and every single cloud disappeared!"
On my way back home I was so amazed myself and was praising God all the way!!!
But right after I turned off where I did a 22 vehicle pile-up car accident happened literally less than half a kilometer ahead.
