Husbands dream

Post by Dove-Solutions on Tue Mar 12, 2013 12:37 pm

Hey all, hubby had this dream, hoping you can help. He normally doesn't dream and especially not like this....so has meaning.

He is in a compound. It is square and small, 4 lengths of a car per side. The front from inside he saw a stairway that leads to a door. This building has no roof and is totally open. He hears a womans voice and it says "once the people upstairs are done applying IT, then apply IT to the ground." He saw two cars parked there side by side. One was a porshe witch was weathered and almost a maroon color paint. The other datsun 240Z was shinny paint that was red. His concern was he should cover the two cars and protect them from the weather. But he kept hearing the lady say the same as above. He thought it could have been his mothers voice. He said the voice was insistent. Any help here is appreciated. He felt concerned about the two cars and otherwise felt ok.

Love in Jesus,

Connie

Is he an intercessor?

Yeah. This is about intercession.

The two things are important.

What is going on in your lives that there are two of? One older, one spiffy?

The cars represent something specific. One of them is a little worn but an iconic car. The other is spiffy but it's an oldie.

It's about two of something. 1970s ring a bell?

I was thinking that the cars may represent people - a couple, perhaps? Or, two people who work side by side.
Just a thought.

Mark that is interesting because my husband and I work at the same job.

Any other thoughts on this?

This part has me stumped, Connie. If the cars represent people - yourselves, even - then it would seem that he's being told to take care of whatever this riddle is referring to instead of what he feels is the natural thing to do - protect the two cars from the weather. That is, applying "It" is of greater importance.

Does "The people upstairs" mean anything to you or him? Anyone who is literally upstairs in real life - work or home - that is involved in anything that stands out to you?

Or, are "the people upstairs" someone in authority...like, further up the chain of command, per se...that are applying a principle to their lives? Anything like that? I'm mostly brainstorming, here.

I was thinking the cars meant people too. I wondered if it wasn't children but it could be both of you. Do the cars match you as people?

The fact that there is no roof I thought was like there was no covering and the dream was showing the lack of covering but He was given direction how to pray first.

The only thing Upstairs for us that I can think of in literal terms is our apartment. My brother in law is our employer. Could be that especially on the principal part. We are in direct disagreement with how things are going here. That may be it.

Mia, Yeah I kinda thought of that too. No covering. I think though like Mark had stated it has to do with someone in authority over us....my boss for example. Remember in my other post I was taking issue with some stuff here. I will be praying more on this. Thanks to you both for you input.
