BALD EAGLE- brother's dream!

Post by unaday* on Tue Dec 30, 2008 8:07 am

My brother had a dream that he saw a HUGE eagle- the bald eagle (with the white feathers on its head) land on top of our house it was so big that it covered our whole entire roof. Itís head was turned how it is turned on the American dollar bill. He was like wow. BUT in its chest were other birds nested. He remembers seeing the Canadian goose but didnít recognize what other birds were. Then the bird started to change and it turned into a man. His head was still covered in feathers (like an Indian chief), his arms and hands were still covered in feathers, his eyes were extremely blue- but what was amazing about his eyes were that they were like marbles- there were not whites and then the pupils Ė it was all blue. Then he walked to my brother and put his right hand on my brothers right shoulder and rested it there. At that point my brother awoke

No the big eagle turned into a man all the other birds (including the canada goose disappeared after that)
So it was a massive bald eagle at first that transformed into a man.

This may seem strange when I say this but its a thought:

I wonder if your brother's ministry is "ABOUT TO TAKE FLIGHT" in some unexpected way and he can rest in God knowing that its about to happen (Joshua 21:45)?
*remember to always pray on what I've said

Hello. It has been known by those in the prophetic arena that the Eagle symbolizes the prophetic. I have a friend who was called to be a prophetess and she had dreams about eagles all the time. She shared with me the eagle represents the prophetic.

The fact that the eagle in your dream turned into a man and then there was a symbol representing (Canadian) could represent a prophetic ministry to prophesy to that region. Also the fact that the man laid his hand on your shoulder could represent the prophetic anointing and you being anointed or called to the prophetic.

Make sure you pray about this. Only the Holy Spirit can interpret dreams. God Bless

Re: BALD EAGLE- brother's dream!

Post by Peter Odhiambo on Wed Apr 29, 2009 1:15 pm

I love this dream.

I will share the biblical part. The eagle is a symbol of spiritual strength and power. Eagles are known to be swift powerful and can survive for many years. It has a far sight which denotes spiritual intelligence and wisdom. in fact its a bility to soar high ,higher than any other bird makes it to be on the watch the very purpose that prophetic voices play in the church to day.

The eagle's forcibly training its young to fly pictures the Lord's power, combined with parental tenderness, in training and tending His people (Deuteronomy 32:11; Exodus 19:4). God manifesting His power and sternness mingled with tenderness in bringing His people out of Egypt with a mighty hand and outstretched arm.
The eagle "hovers over her young" in teaching them their first flight, ready in a moment to save them when in danger of falling on the rocks below. Isaiah 31:5. God stirred up Israel from the foul nest of Egypt, which of their own accord they would have never left, so satisfied were they with its fleshpots in spite of its corruptions. Any nation that goes to sleep will be rekindled and stirred up to turn to the ways of the Lord. The prophet Ezekiel prophesied to the dry borns,a system that was spiritually dead. The "stirring up the nest" spiritually corresponds to the first awakening of the soul; the "fluttering over her young" to the brooding of the Holy Spirit over the awakened soul; the "taking and bearing on her wings" to His continuous teaching and guardian care. The eagle assists the young one's first effort by flying under to sustain it for a moment and encourage its efforts. All these require a prophetic voice!

At the time of the Exodus, the Israelites walked out of Egypt "on eagles' wings": Exodus 19:4
The meaning of The Lord's "how I bare you on eagles' wings" is explained further:
"As an eagle stirreth up her nest, fluttereth over her young, spreadeth abroad her wings, taketh them, beareth them on her wings: So The Lord alone did lead him, and there was no strange god with Him" Deuteronomy 32
In the dream the laying of the hand, the hand of God shows an assignment or a commission into the prophetic office. The Lord has hovered a round this nation but he can as well use your brother as a voice. To prophesy to the dry bones in this last days. He might be touching him with a prophetic hand which I have described a bove.

be blessed

Zinab I gree with you infact. Thanks for that interp from the lord.I confirm that to be .But felt to give biblical stance on what you say.

There is a bald eagle in (MICAH 1 :16)

And apart from there unclean eating habit the bible says much a bout them.We shall even mount up with wings like eagles.Amen.

I also feel that the other birds are souls to be ministered to and raised in the heights of the eagle as the Lord will use his man of God.

Thank you sister.Amen.
