Getting a tatoo

Post by pewilso512 on Tue Dec 25, 2012 8:19 pm

I had a dream that my husband and I were going to get matching tatoos. When we got to the tattoo parlor, he got in the chair first. He was ready to get the tatoo, and he wanted it "real big" on his arm (bicep). I started to get scared and became hesitant to get the tatoo. I was trying to convince myself to get it by thinking that I could get a "tiny" tatoo on my hand in between my thumb and pointing finger. I really didn't want to permanently mark my body. bandaid Any thoughts?

scratching chin I am not making any "big" decisions now. Maybe it will happen in the near future. Will let you know when the dream manifests. Until then, praying

I'm in agreement with D.

In the dream, the tatoo was something that you didn't want to have as a permanent mark on your body, as you said. Your husband was all for it, though. Where does this difference relate to your real life? Also, the feelings in the dream probably line up with real life emotions related to whatever it may be - specifically, the portion where you were scared at first, and then reasoning with yourself about how you could go about it as minimally as possible.

Something else to consider is that your husband may not be literal. The commitment or level of involvement could relate to something outside of your literal relationship. A work project, just as an example.

And, as you said, it could be something in the future. Your feelings would help recognize that situation as relating to the dream when it manifests.
