Turkey Time

Post by TakeHold on Tue Nov 20, 2012 9:11 pm

It started out that I knew that I had to prepare a lot of food, including turkey. My mom came and was wondering why I wasn't ready to go. Apparently I was making this food for my older sister's wedding (in real life she's been married a while) and I told her I was getting ready. She said the wedding was at 10:30, and it was 10:30 now. So I went to get dressed. I put on a vibrant, multi-colored form fitting dress. I came out and saw that my mom had put the turkey in a vat of oil. The vat looked like a long smoker and it was left behind Mary, I lady I had just recently helped move. I saw that Mary had left a turkey in there as well, and apparently my mom didn't remove it before she put the fresh turkey in. I was worried that the old turkey would contaminate the new. I reasoned that the high temperatures of the oil may kill the bacteria...besides, there was nothing I could do about it at this point.

Then my mom saw my dress and pointed out my cellulite. I acknowledged what she said and was not offended. But I did see that I could see my undergarments so I went quickly to find my white bra. I couldn't find it but found that the beige one worked pretty well.

We went outside to leave and my mom asked where the food was. I was surprised that I needed to bring it with me and I was hoping that I wouldn't miss any of the wedding in the time it took to load it up and get there.

I had a second dream ... this time I bought 20 turkeys for a wedding! I have to understand the turkey. I've read that in this context they can represent family...

Instead of looking at the symbols start with the bigger picture. In both dreams you are helping out with something that is not necessarily your responsibility.

In what are of your life are you helping someone else but are a little bit behind and where other people might be effecting what you are doing by "helping" albeit not very well?

I'm a lousy example of a Christian but a PERFECT example of God's Grace.
