Husband dressed as George Washington

Post by ladybecky on Sun Dec 21, 2008 6:53 am

My husband told me he dreamed that he was at some hotel or conference event and that he had on a George Washington costume. He said he saw others dressed up in costumes, but his stood out. He said the costume was like one that fit over his entire body and could easily be put on and taken off with ease. He said in the dream he understood that he had done dreamt this before, like a dream within a dream. Any thoughts??

Thanks

He is pariotic rofl Just having a little fun, but on a serious note could he be masking his true feelings about something. when we wear a costume we are hiding our true self. maybe their is a issue that he needs to deal with and he don't know how to address it or he is avoiding addressing the issue so he puts on a mask or costume. He has comfort with this costume because he can put it on or take it off. please receive in love.

Thanks Watchman! I just saw another dream post about someone seeing George Washington, and i can't help believe their may be some significance with what GW represents. He is known as the father of our country (USA), and is a symbol of leadership, courage, military prowess, and patriotism. I wonder if anyone else may have some additional thoughts??

I wonder if there will be something that will happen to your husband that will be historical (A FIRST so to speak? Something that will stand out among everyone else?) I say "first" because the George Washington was the country's first president.

please pray on what I've said

I would also like to add that a dream with in a dream usually indicates direct instruction from the Father.

Love in Christ,

I am wondering if your husband has deep sense of love for this country and in some way has attributes of George Washington. Does you husband have a strong moral cumpass and feel it necessary to defend the moral fibbers of this county? As Connie mentioned maybe in some way he is being instructed to do something. If so the Lord will make it clear...

Blessing from Jesus, Lori

Hi Lori, I think you are on the right path, I believe this has to do with the attributes or character of who George Washington was and what he represents.I think I recall my husband telling me that the uniform was like that of Washington's military outfit.

Praise God! This is very intriguing. I wonder what the Lord is going to do with your husband?

Hi Una, I'm sorry I didn't see your post until today. My husband does have a call on his life as a preacher, but he is feeling a bit discouraged lately.
