History: After the death of my father, I moved in with my mother who has parkinsons disease that is controlled and walks with a cane. Only her and I live in the home along with my son and daughter who visits from college. I have lived here two years.

Last month, our burglar alarm system went off (3:30am) and at the time I was living in the basement and I ran upstairs and went in the room with my mom and closed her door. My mom started becoming hysterical as I talked to the police until they arrived on the phone. My mom kept saying that she was hearing male voices in the house and that it sounded like hispanics. The police came out and checked out our place, around the back of our house and in our house. The burglar company stated that the alarm went off because of glass detection - whatever that means. Than last night, I was awaken at 2:20am in the morning by a friends text message and I woke up and looked at it and I heard outside my window a male's voice so I cut all the lights on in the house and began to pray. I pleaded the blood of jesus all around the house and I prayed to God because at the time of the first event, I was skeptical of my the voices that my mother was hearing but I no longer feel that way because I heard a male voice and it wasnt the television. So I stayed up until around 4:00am praying to God and pleading the blood of Jesus.

Since that day, I have been unable to sleep through the night. I am always up checking the house out, praying, pleading the blood, dispatching angels and than I rest. There are times when I have to leave my mom home alone at night and I am concerned for her safety because she is slow in walking but is alert in the mind. She stays home all day and I call periodically while at work to check on her and her safety.

I just want prayer on safety and direction for us in our home and that we are trusting God every step of the way. We are going to get more lights (motion) outside our home so it is less dark.

Just need prayer for our minds, both mom and me and my children and for our lives - safety, protection, as god promised in his word.

I am also reminded of his protection thus far - when there was a fire next door - he alerted my mom and she alerted me and we were able to get out and he preserved her home and the lives of mom,me, son. Than when we had someone not fix our roof properly, and it rained and the roof caved in - her preserved our lives again and for three mths we lived in a hotel as they renovated her home. This is just another chance for us to see his glory.

Father, I thank you that you are our refuge, a very present help in times of trouble. I thank you for Tolos2009 and her family, Father, and I thank you for her faith. Father, I plead the blood of Jesus on Tolos2009 and her family, her home, and her belongings. Father, I pray for a hedge of protection to be around Tolos2009's home and property in the name of Jesus. I command any free, unbound, or wandering spirits to get out beyond that hedge of protection now in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. I render those spirits useless and cast them back into the pit in the name of Jesus. I ask that warrior angels would be placed to stand guard at every door, window and any other opening in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. That your angels will protect Tolos2009's home from any intrusion in the name of Jesus. Father, I thank you that no weapon formed against Tolos2009 and her family can prosper. Thank you, Father, for your grace and authority that covers the darkness with your Light. We give you all the praise and glory. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Tolos2009 along with Ephesians 6, pray the Psalms - 46, 71, 91 - I'm sure there are others but these are the ones that come to mind...you might also consider praying walking through your home and anointing your doorways and windows while pleading the blood of Jesus on each opening.

Thank you again for all your prayers of agreement. I have been reading Psalm 46 and Psalm 91 as the Lord gave me those. I will add Psalm 71 and anoint my home as well. As for the tips on home safety, these are great and I will take the time to read them.
