peacemaking

Post by Deborah on Thu Nov 01, 2012 9:36 am

Yesterday in real life I was listening to Christian radio and I heard an advertisement for a company that settles disputes between individuals and even between churches. I was thinking how much this is needed and how brave and wise a person would have to be to do this job well. Anyway last night I had a dream I was in a room with lots of people and a biological sister of mine was sitting near a back wall. A television was on and a guy from the before-mentioned company was teaching people how to settle disputes on TV. So I sat down and faced my sister and repeated the words the guy on TV said. I felt no emotion. I was expecting the guy on TV to have my sister repeat words back to me but he never did. I walked away puzzled. IRL this sister has always hated me.

I believe this dream is a prayer from your heart to the Lord that your sister would work with you to restore your relationship.

I pray that the Lord would minister to her heart, that her heart would soften toward you and there would be an opportunity for a relationship.

Hugs,
Mia

I woke up really early this morning and was praying for broken relationships in my life. I fell asleep and had another dream about this (mentioned above) sister.

In the dream, my sister walked into my house (irl she has never been here although I have lived here since 2002). She was looking at my house (it irks me when people who are visiting look at my house more than they look at me ). She even went upstairs and looked around uninvited. I was about to say something to her, but held my tongue. We started talking and my sister suddenly became very broken and she wept. She told me all the things that were going wrong in her life (irl she seems to have the perfect life but I know it isn't true). I had compassion for her. I was surprised I had compassion for her and wondered why she had to be broken for me to relate to her.
