I had a new Car and Pulled it into a Garage

Post by KDRE on Thu Oct 04, 2012 11:39 am

That's how the dream appeared

I found myself sitting in a new Lexus I know the model and all. I say new because I drive an SUV... if I were to ever get another car it would be a Lexus if it was my choice

Anyway, I was in the drive way in front of the garage, but I noticed things in this order

- I was sitting in the drivers seat not going anywhere, and looked over to the passenger side (just looking at the car, it is new afterall)

- I got out the drivers seat to look at the outside, its a black lexus

- I get in the back seat and look around and think to myself, how many people can fit in here if I were to pick people up for church or whatever, and also noticed the middle of the backseat wasn't fully open, would only be comfortable for a child or short person to kick their legs up

- Im back in the drivers seat.. since the car is pointed towards the street which I never saw, I back the car into what is now an open garage door into the garage

That was the end of it

I would appreciate any help here. I would think at this time of my life it really means something important to me.

Thanks all!

This is my humble opinion. This dream seems to be literal.... as in, a new car in the future.

Hi Mia

Any reason it might indicate a literal meaning?

Im still working on the interpretations, but thats a side I haven't touched on very much (literals)

I don't even have a desire for a new car right now lol

Firstly, I dream more literally than symbolically. I will see things happen in my dreams, years ahead of time, almost exactly like they happen someday down the road. In my opinion, literal dreams are often misinterpreted as symbolic dreams.... to an excruciatingly painful degree.

If this were symbolic, there isn't much of a message to it, which contradicts everything I know about the why and wherefore of symbolic dreams.... they are usually very important messags of comfort or just plain important. A symbolic dream is usually always easily recognized by circumstances in our life so, if this were symbolic, it would symbolize you making making observations, and not much more than that. It doesn't seem to be telling you anything, therefore, if it were a dream of mine, that would be an indicator that it was literal.

I agree with Mia. WHen I first read this dream earlier this morning, I felt that it was literal. Just because you don't desire a car now, doesn't mean you won't later. It could be something God is showing you NOW for a different season of your life.

It's good seeing you...

Hey Cholette!!

Hope we can catch up soon :)

You know I don't argue with Mia lol

Point has been well taken. I do want a Lexus one day but its not something I've prayed about or asked for ya know? I guess that's one reason why it sort of surprises me, although Im not ever NOT amazed at anything God does

We don't have to pray about things for God to talk to us FIRST. :) He knows your heart and your future.
