Hi tbsmilesbig -

As usual, it depends on the context of the larger dream. Having said that, I've noticed that dreams that are set in the nighttime sometimes reflect an absence of light symbolically, i.e., the dreamer or someone in the dream may be depressed, "in the dark" regarding an issue, under a spiritual attack, someone might be in a dark season or about to enter one, etc.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for the feedback! I really appreciate it! Just when I think I have some things figured out in regards to dreams. laugh I was under the impression that a dream taking place at night had to do with the present moment? It is clear that symbols need to be taken in with the entire theme of the dream and not dissected into separate pieces.
