Family prayer

Post by gracee (lionhgirl) on Sat Mar 24, 2012 11:56 pm

Hi everyone, I was wondering if you could join me as I pray for my family. We're all coming together for a week, under the same roof & it has the possibility of not going so well - relationship wise. I'm praying for God's love &peace to help draw us closer together instead of further apart. Thankyou so much.

Praying Psalm 133 over you and your family, that the Lord would give you an increase in the fruits of the Spirit so that you can live in unity and experience all the blessings that come as a result:

Psalm 133
King James Version (KJV)

Psalm 133
1Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!

2It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron's beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments;

3As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.

Please let us know how things turn out, ok? flower

I agree in faith with everyone above and can only add - do not leave this family gathering to "the chance". Take charge over the spiritual atmosphere in your home. If you are married, do this with your husband or let him do it as he is the spiritual head and leader of your home. All the spirits of strife have to obey his commands in JESUS' Name. I have seen it with my very own eyes!
Keep praying blessings over every person who will come and stay with you. Bless them with the spirit God's of Peace and Joy to indwell their hearts and minds and praise the Lord for wonderful family gathering to the Glory of His Name! Pray this "forth" and keep praying while your family stays in your house!

Hi everyone, just an update - there were some up and downs, but overall I did see and feel a difference in us this week. And surely the biggest change begins in the small things, right? So thankyou so much for your prayers in this situation :) I'm so grateful.
