Newborn & germs

Post by happiness80 on Sun Feb 26, 2012 11:40 am

I had a dream last night:

Seems I was coming back home from a party with my sister. She was driving my car and dropped me home, I seemed to be okay with her driving my car. I then go into the house and my mum is there watching over a newborn baby. The baby is lying on the bed wrapped in blankets although its legs were kicking about. In the dream I look at the baby but dont want to go near it because I had been socialising with other at a party and dont want to pass on germs to the baby.
The dream ended.

Any thoughts?

Hi Happiness! :hi: Is there anything new in your waking life that you are resistant to start up because of natural circumstances that keep coming up? Something like a project, or something that requires much attention by chance? Or even something that you are hesitant to interact with, such as investing your time or energy in getting involved with a new group of people, or something like that. New relationships are very time consuming, and can be emotionally draining in my opinion. Just some thoughts of mine, not an interp. Please pray and toss if its not a fit.

Ephesians 2:8,9 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.

Hi Daisy :)

Yes I immediately thought something new, actually when I saw the baby in this dream I couldnt help but think "Oh no!" I've been in a bit of a "waiting" season where things have been moving slowly and I think I have become quite comfortable. I think I am hesitant to move out of this comfort zone i've been in and probably the thought of anything time consuming quite frankly doesn't appeal to me lol. It makes sense when you said " hesistant to investing your time and energy". I think perhaps God maybe bringing something new along to move me out of this little comfortable zone I have become attached to.....but will continue to pray on this.

Thanks for that, makes perfect sense :thanks:

Do you think with your sister driving the car is an indicator of you wanting to be comfortable? I know it's a lot easier and relaxing when I let my wife drive. With that being said, do you think you are letting someone in your life drive or dictate a certain aspect of your life? Maybe going along with the crowd and not stepping out from the comfort of the status quo, into something new. Just a thought.

Thanks guys for that,

Greatfulservant: Yes i wondered about my sister driving the car, as I thought of this dream I realised she is much younger than me and very independant as well as very carefree. i wondered whether that pointed to me wanting that also? But then seeing the baby indicated to me responsibility of some sort, that I really dont want right now.
But you are right in the sense that I am just going along with things at the moment and I have a strong sense the lord is telling me not to get too comfortable :)

Thank you for the thoughts :)

Hi dear happiness80,
I'm not an expert in interpreting yet. These may be my own thoughts.
The baby may be a "task" for you. You don't really feel like "taking care of it", but you should accept it and be responsible for it.
Please toss it if, it's not what the Lord tells you.
Blessings.
