my breast implants

Recommended Posts

Ive had breast implants for 11 years now, ive been happy with them up until about 3 weeks ago, now i just want them out but im so scared what my breasts will look like after having implants in for so long. I know god wants me to have them out but im so scared, i wish i had never had them done now and just accepted what god gave me. im getting some strange feelings in one of my breasts, i got a funny feeling that it may have ruptured and im really scared about health risks. has anyone here had or know anyone who had breast implants taken out without replacing them. i was quite small before i had them so im worried im just going to be left with saggy skin.

Daisychain,

First off let me start by saying this....breath! If the Lord is asking you to remove them then know that he is watching over the situation carefully. He is the Lord who restores us and he will restore you also....you will always be beautiful and you don't need them to enhance the perfect creation that God has made in you...You are perfect without them. You are a very pretty woman....I can see that in you. Just trust the Lord and don't try to understand why...Just do what he asks. I know it is easier said than done but I know you can do it. Remember he rewards the obedient.

Love in Jesus,

Hi Daisychain! :hi: I am believing that God is going to bless you for obeying Him. Considering they have been in for quite some time, you may want to consider checking into having any excess skin removed when you go under to get the implants out. It may not be that much more extra to reconstruct considering that you will have to go under the knife anyways to get them removed. I believe God wants to restore you to the place that you were before, and to feel comfortable and confident doing it. I want to encourage you that this is ok to have the desire to look and feel good after getting your implants removed. I will be believing that if this is something you end up desiring, that the funds will be provided to do this. You may also need to purchase new clothing, as your current shirts may not fit like they do now. I will believing that God will also provide this for you as well. God can redeem any of our choices in life, I truly believe this! He totally sees our hearts in every way. I also want to state that I personally don't believe that implants are sinful by any means. BUT if the Lord is leading you in your current situation to have them removed, then you def should obey Him (since He leads us in what is BEST for us). Be encouraged sister!!! :hooray: Bless You

Praying for you...obedience is not always easy, but it's worth it in the long run. I agree with both Connie and Daisy...

thank you for the kind replies. I have my consultation tonight with a surgeon. my head is all over the place, i keep looking at my breasts in the mirror trying to imagine what they're going to look like after surgery, i can live with the the idea of having small breasts but not breasts that look deformed. I keep thinking that god is saying "you made the choice to have implants now you have to live with the consequences" will god really restore me to the way i was before? im single at the moment what happens when i meet someone and my breasts are deformed im not going to want them to look at me! i can just about afford the surgery, i havent got the money for a uplift, will god provide the funds even if its for cosmetic reasons? I just want to look the way i was before the implants. crying

DaisyChain,

Yes he has restored you! We need only trust that. He is the God that healed you! Isaiah 53:5 says that by his stripes we ARE healed. Not we will be but that we are healed. All things are possible with the Lord! All things! Yes we do make certain choices that we have to live with but I do not believe the Lord would tell you that. I believe that even when we make those choice that he gives us his grace to overcome the obstacle that may result from it. He never condemns but lifts us up and encourages us to go on. He says in his word, come to me all who are heavy laden and I will give you rest, for my yoke is easy and my burden light. He is with you going through this with you. He is there helping you and giving you strength to overcome your trials and tribulations. Oh I know you may not see him but he is there non the less. Trust him. Remember that if we love ourselves then we also need to forgive ourselves. I will lay this before the Lord in agreement with you.

Love in Jesus,
