Visiting a Courtroom

Post by TheWhiteShadow on Sun Jan 15, 2012 8:54 am

In this dream, I was sitting in a one-room courthouse. This building was in my town, though it does not exist in real life. I was in this room along with my niece (she's 10). I also believe that my siblings were there, although I think that they were also around the same age as my niece - so, I was there with children. We were only there to watch a trial take place - not a part of a jury, and not involved in the case at all. The only thing I said to the children was that we had to be quiet, because we could still get in trouble even though we're only watching.

Thoughts?

Were you an adult...your age now???

Ephesians 2:8,9 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.

Yes. I was the only adult in the group.

I could be off in this question...its totally just a thought. What age were you and your siblings when your parents split??

Whew...let's see....I was 2 or 3 and my sister was 1 or less. The next one was later on. I was 12, she was 10, the next sister was 7, and my brother was 5.

The current mother/stepfather marriage came about when I was 17, I believe...though they were together, unmarried, for many years.

I asked cuz I was wondering if this is of you and siblings observing the repercussions of marriage/divorce situation as kids.

I wonder if this is about a literal future event?

You know, the thought had crossed my mind that I would observe someone else's trial.

Should I assume that I need to keep quiet while I see it take place?

If it's more literal than that...well, at least I know it isn't Jury Duty. :)
