Please pray for my mother

Recommended Posts

My mom has always been very healthy, the only thing she has suffered from is heavy bleeding because she has been going through menopause for a year or more now. Then all of a sudden a week ago, the doctor told my mom she has Endometriosis and he gave her some medicine she needed to take for 3 months straight in order to dissolve what she had inside and to stop the heavy bleeding she has been having. When she started taking the medicine, she began to feel worst than before. The doctor didn't tell her what the medicine's side effects could be so I went online and searched for them and turns out that everything she was feeling were side effects from the medicine. After a couple of days of taking it, she finally stopped because she noticed she wasn't feeling any better and began to get terrible dark sunken bags under her eyes, had really bad headaches, and only wanted to sleep during the day since she felt weak, but also felt half awake while asleep. When she started taking the medicine even her voice changed, but now its been about two or three days that she hasn't taken it and she still feels terrible. I feel really bad because I have seen how it has affected her and how it has changed her life. She's always been a very upbeat and active person and now she's the complete opposite and begins to cry because of how she's feeling. Please pray for her so she can go back to the upbeat and happy person she was and so these side effects can go away. Please pray so God can give her the strength she needs to go on with her day, and heal her from everything she is feeling. I also ask for prayer for my father so he can understand how my mother feels, and so we can be supportive and help my mother and make things easier for her. My father has made some really hurtful decisions in the past, and we pray that he does not make those mistakes again. The Lord has listened to our prayers, but there are times he seems to return to the way he used to be and doesn't seem to understand my mother and what she's going through. There are times he says there's nothing wrong with her and that she's faking everything, but I know it's not true because I know the way my mother is and I have seen how this has affected her life. Please help me pray for my mother and my family. Thank you and God bless you!

Hi Abigail,

I will surely pray for your mom. I can relate to what you are going through as my mom has suffered from some injuries lately. Dad tries to be patient, but sometimes he can be a bit insensitive. It's hard when we see our parents getting older and the roles almost reverse. I'll pray for your strength too.I don't know if your mom is thinking she is like the woman in the Bible who had the issue of blood, but when I prayed, I felt I needed to speak against that. BTW, I'm in Ft. Worth. I noticed you are in Dallas!

praying Her divine health has ALREADY been purchased through Christ!!! If she's not experiencing diving health, the enemy has trespassed!!! Praying that her faith in what Christ has done for her will shut the door to every lying demonic force, and that they will return NO MORE!!!!!

Thank you Shan, Connie, and Cholette for your prayers!

Thank you Shan, I'll be praying for your parents as well. It's true, it really is hard to see that they aren't like before and don't have the same strength as they used to. It's also difficult because how men sometimes don't understand the phases women go through and how they feel. I think she does see herself like the woman in the Bible who had the bleeding. I do live in Dallas though :)

Amen Connie! Thank you for helping me pray as well. :)

Thank you for your prayers also Cholette, you're right I do think the enemy is trying to interrupt her spiritual life and it does seem as if she was losing faith, but I'm glad that there's people I can rely on to help me pray. As I was feeling like I didn't have much support in prayer.

I really appreciate your prayers and support. I know the Lord listens to our prayers and I know she is healed! :) May God bless each and everyone of you who is helping me pray for my mother, and may He bless your families as well. Bless You

Thank you Deborah!
I appreciate your concern for my family and me and I appreciate your prayers. I missed being part of the site and hearing from all as well. I had been very busy with my family and school. Yes, my dad is doing way better, he recently went for a check up two weeks ago and they told him nothing was wrong with him at all, when a few months ago they were saying he most likely had prostate cancer. The Lord is almighty though and constantly shows us His everlasting love! :) I hope you and your family are doing great Deborah, I will continue to keep you in my prayers.

God bless You!
