Basketball and amputee (Manifestation)

Post by tbsmilesbig on Sat Dec 10, 2011 10:01 pm

Any guesses on what this could mean / represent?

I was playing basketball with a guy that had his right arm amputated. It didn't seem to bother him at all, everything seemed normal - he still raised the ball up to what was left of his arm, which was not much. It was more like his shoulder. We took turns shooting. The end.

The funny thing about this short dream is I don't play basketball.

Any thoughts?

Is there anyone in your waking life that's experienced a loss whom you assume would be bothered by it? Someone involved in the same thing you are - could be work, or a project, etc...

Okay, Mark, I have an update on this thread.

First let me say that the Holy Spirit reminded me about a part of the dream that I overlooked. I forgot that as I was shooting the ball in the dream I kept missing or "coming up short". With that said, here's the meaning of the dream.

I applied to grad school a few months ago and was accepted under the condition that I take the GMAT and make a decent score. That created a bit of anxiety for me, as I'm sure you can imagine.

I finally took the exam yesterday and missed the mark by 80 points (coming up short). When I told my adviser this morning she said she would talk to the dean of the department and see what she could do. Well, the school is still going to let me in!! Woohoo! Just like the guy in the dream continued to play ball with me even though I was not doing well at shooting, so the school is still willing to accept my score and let me into the program!! happy dance

Thanks again for your input!

Blessings,
tbsmiles
