Two different Shoes

Post by mjtorrence on Fri Nov 11, 2011 7:40 pm

Had a dream that I was standing in my husbands uncles house washing the dishes and I had on two different shoes, on one foot I had a boot on and the other one I had a high heel on scratching chin

Hello!

Just wondering if you had any feelings about these shoes in the dream? Did it seem natural to have them both on at the same time? Did you feel that one was more appropriate for you than the other? Were you bothered at all by what you saw?

I was bothered when I saw that I had on two different shoes because it's out of the norm to wear two different shoes. Both shoes felt comfortable although it didn't feel natural to me

Interesting. This is just a thought, not an interpretation... Any part of your life where you feel just as bothered by two aspects which don't seem like they are meant to go together?

This can be wrong... but for me, I struggle with marrying the persona that I "wear" at work with the one I "wear" when I'm anywhere else. I have to be more serious, more direct, and less sensitive (although still Christ-like) in my workplace than I am outside, and I often wish that I could be one way all the time.

Like I said, this is just a thought and can totally be wrong. Toss it if it doesn't fit.

Blessings,
-Mark

This reminds me of a person who wears many hats--in the natural of course a person would only wear one hat, but it's a way of saying a person has more than one occupation. "Boots" to me means manual labor whereas "high heels" indicate office work, etc.--Just my two cents...

Hi,
This may be my own thought.
Maybe it means an odd situation.
Please toss it if it's not what the Lord tells you.
Blessings.
