Searching for Hummingbirds

Post by TheWhiteShadow on Sun Oct 16, 2011 7:45 am

Hello, again -

This is the last of three dreams last night. I have no idea if they're related - I don't think so, though.

In this dream, I've joined a group of people who are searching for a rare kind of hummingbird. Apparently, the birds had a kind of medicinal cure in their beaks from the food that they ate. One of the men in the group pointed at a flower that was growing and told us that the birds looked just like the flower. The flower was mostly black with a red or orange outer edge. We began our search, but I thought to myself that winter was coming soon and most-likely the birds had migrated from the area.

Thanks for any thoughts,
-Mark

I'm not sure what the hummingbird is a symbol of. One of the things that hummingbirds eat is nectar from flowers. According to this site because hummingbirds are fast they need as much energy as they can get.

The hummingbird looked like what he/she ate, the flowers. It reminds me of a saying that persons are what they eat.

I don't know how I missed that! I think there's something to what you're saying. I'm really into fitness, but my diet has slacked in the recent weeks. I've been thinking about rewriting my diet plan, but haven't made the time. Probably should get to it.

Thanks, Butterfly.
