Snake dream

Post by Elle on Tue Nov 25, 2008 7:37 am

In my dream I was walking with my 14 year old daughter. We were geting into my car but then we were walking a path. I saw 2 snakes and alered my daughter to them. Then there was a very old tree with all the roots showing. When i looked closely at the roots they were actually big and old snakes.
I then woke up. this dream was very clear and i am wondering if you could help me figure it out.
I am also not very fond of snakes and was scared in the dream. :seespeakhear:

thank you for your thoughts.
It was a very old tree.
It was not a fruit bearing tree.I really only saw the trunk and the roots .
the trunk was very round and big.

Where was the tree? Was it on your property?

Could this be alerting to you some generational curse that may be over your family? Just a thought.

Karen thank you for your thoughts. I am wondering why you think that .
If this is the case what can i do about it. If this is the case i ask for prayers to have it removed. Its coincidental you mention this as last december my husband
left our 30 year marriage for another woman and it has been a really hard year for me. I have 3 kids who are 22, 20 and 14. the first are 2 boys and the 3rd is my daughter. It has been a very hard year for them also.
I would ask for prayers again that the situation gets better. crying

I wonder if there are some old and hidden issues that the enemy is trying to bring up about you and your daughter or family? Just a thought. I also thought about the garden of Eden (ie: you know with the tree of knowledge and life?) I wonder if there is some disception in some way: look good, but when you come close to it and look at it more closely you can see the truth? I wonder if this is caution to stay away from something?
please pray on what I've said

RE Snake Dream

Post by karenburns2008 on Thu Dec 04, 2008 5:58 pm

In the Bible, trees are often associated with nations. Olive Trees are often represented as the nation of Israel and their descendants while would mean a familial relationship. The tree you said was old. So something in the past. Then some of the roots were snakes.....demonic activity going on. Just instantly came to me as generational. I am lifting you in prayer so that the Lord will confirm it if that is the case. The Lord is more than able to break generational curses as He has delivered me and my family from a couple. I am sorry to hear about your husband. Hold on to Isaiah 54: 4-6. This is such a wonderful promise. I have held onto this when I was going through my difficult times and the Lord always saw me through. :bighug:
