DOORBELL IN THE MIDNIGHT HOUR

Post by dreamer247 on Tue Nov 18, 2008 12:29 pm

THE OTHER NIGHT I DREAMED I HEARD MY DOORBELL, IT WAS JUST VIVID THAT I WOKE UP AND WENT DOWNSTAIRS TO SEE IF SOMEONE WAS AT THE DOOR. IT WAS AT THE MIDNIGHT HOUR AS WELL. CAN ANYONE HELP WITH THAT?

I dont have an interpretation but it reminded me of this scripture: Song of Solomon 5:2

"I slept but my heart was awake.
Listen! My lover is knocking:
"Open to me, my sister, my darling,
my dove, my flawless one.
My head is drenched with dew,
my hair with the dampness of the night."
3 I have taken off my robe—
must I put it on again?
I have washed my feet—
must I soil them again?

4 My lover thrust his hand through the latch-opening;
my heart began to pound for him.

5 I arose to open for my lover,
and my hands dripped with myrrh,
my fingers with flowing myrrh,
on the handles of the lock.

6 I opened for my lover,
but my lover had left; he was gone.
My heart sank at his departure.
I looked for him but did not find him.
I called him but he did not answer."

blessings,

Laura Boaz (aka Daph)

Yes! Daph and daughtefogod, very good!! can I add, that the midnight hour is known as a watching hour for prayer as well. There are specific watch hours and midnite is one of them. Then 3:00, 6:00 and 9:00 and it starts over. Intresting, you could be hearing the call to prayer and worship....

I was also thinking of "Behold, I stand at the door and knock." But isn't it funny that we all too often put God and Jesus in a box. We think of him as literally knocking. Nobody knocks anymore - we all have doorbells. Jesus gets that. He's right here with us - in our world, in our society. So he rang your doorbell.
