Hi there Dreamster,

Please pray into this interpretation.

I sensed in this dream the Lord is telling you it is time he becomes your identity not where you grew up. I sense there is changes and new direction the Lord is bringing into your life in him. The 3 represents the Father,son and Holy spirit. He is giving you a beautiful divine exchange," all of him."

Please toss what does not fit.

Dreamster -

Here are some thoughts, please pray on this interpretation....

Blessings,

Lurdys
--------------------------------
I agree with Jeanie in that this dream represents the Lord telling you that you have a new identity in Him.

I would add that we sometimes place false security in things - we attach a sentimental value to them but in truth they have no value. Our security is in Jesus Christ. He wants to take you to a new place but in order for that to happen, you have to let go of your past and those things that are part of your old identity. While I take the land price itself to be literal, not symbolic, I think that the farm's sale is the "price" that will be paid for you to follow Him.

And that is in part what your current trip is about. Take a good look at it all and then let it go. This is not easy an easy task - I don't want it to come across as flippant - I know that this will probably be one of the most difficult things that you do, if not the most difficult and painful. But it will also prove to be the most rewarding. Trust in the Lord with all your heart - lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths. He is directing your path right now. Follow Him, don't be like Lot's wife. The best is yet to come!

Luke 17:28 - 33
"Likewise as it was also in the days of Lot: They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built; 29 but on the day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. 30 Even so will it be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed.
31 “In that day, he who is on the housetop, and his goods are in the house, let him not come down to take them away. And likewise the one who is in the field, let him not turn back. 32 Remember Lot’s wife. 33 Whoever seeks to save his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life will preserve it."

You don't have the new direction but the Lord does and that's where your blessing is. Follow His compass. Your life story isn't finished yet...again, the best is yet to come so be encouraged! He will bless you exceedingly abundantly far more than you could ever hope for if you let Him.

I hope that I don't come across as insensitive when I say that. I don't know what it's like to be in your situation so I can only offer general encouragement, not a testimony. But I do know that God is still God. He is bigger than your friends' bank accounts. And He is bigger than any of their possessions. Their riches are fleeting. He is eternal.

Here is some perspective from Ecclesiates 2 (though this is only a portion, the whole book is worth a read and meditation/prayer to re-gain perspective in this area) :

1 I thought in my heart, "Come now, I will test you with pleasure to find out what is good." But that also proved to be meaningless. 2 "Laughter," I said, "is foolish. And what does pleasure accomplish?" 3 I tried cheering myself with wine, and embracing folly—my mind still guiding me with wisdom. I wanted to see what was worthwhile for men to do under heaven during the few days of their lives.
4 I undertook great projects: I built houses for myself and planted vineyards. 5 I made gardens and parks and planted all kinds of fruit trees in them. 6 I made reservoirs to water groves of flourishing trees. 7 I bought male and female slaves and had other slaves who were born in my house. I also owned more herds and flocks than anyone in Jerusalem before me. 8 I amassed silver and gold for myself, and the treasure of kings and provinces. I acquired men and women singers, and a harem [a] as well—the delights of the heart of man. 9 I became greater by far than anyone in Jerusalem before me. In all this my wisdom stayed with me.

10 I denied myself nothing my eyes desired;
I refused my heart no pleasure.
My heart took delight in all my work,
and this was the reward for all my labor.

11 Yet when I surveyed all that my hands had done
and what I had toiled to achieve,
everything was meaningless, a chasing after the wind;
nothing was gained under the sun.

12 Then I turned my thoughts to consider wisdom,
and also madness and folly.
What more can the king's successor do
than what has already been done?
13 I saw that wisdom is better than folly,
just as light is better than darkness.

14 The wise man has eyes in his head,
while the fool walks in the darkness;
but I came to realize
that the same fate overtakes them both.

15 Then I thought in my heart,
"The fate of the fool will overtake me also.
What then do I gain by being wise?"
I said in my heart,
"This too is meaningless."

16 For the wise man, like the fool, will not be long remembered;
in days to come both will be forgotten.
Like the fool, the wise man too must die!

Blessings,

Lurdys

I am not bashing my head in dreamster not at all. We miss it at times and when we do we admit it. So no worries.I see that Lola picked up on the same thing I picked up on so this is good because the Lord desires for us to know him and be freed from things that tie us to others things and he wants to release us to walk in him in a new place.

Thanks Lola dear one.

Dreamster,

Do you feel the sale of the farm is like losing your parents all over again?

What I feel is this:

This is the farm is going to be sold. What I feel from this is that you are/will grieve over this sale because it will be somewhat like losing your parents all over again. Your parents no longer being tied to the farm symbolizes a loss of a the major physical connection with them through the farm.

I feel like this is a dream for prayer that God would encourage you and lift you up when the place is sold.

Hugs,
Mia

Hey Dreamster,

I am so sorry, time slipped away from me today. I have been a tad busy the last couple days so I have just gotten a chance to really read the dream. I have to say I agree with Mia on this one. I sense that the connection here is your past and maybe letting go of that past. The attachment for you is in the place and the Lord wants to let you know that it will be sold and he is preparing you for that. Sometimes we cope when we lose someone through the things that surround us that they used to be at or have. The farm is the one thing that reminds you of them and you have that attachment to it because it so much a part of who they were. The Lord wants us to let go of that and cling to him and I agree that this is a dream for prayer that the Lord would encourage you when it is sold.

Love in Christ,

Connie :cmere:

Amen, Connie.

I also feel like maybe all the dreams about grief over the farm are a message that a deliverance needs to take place. It seems like it is an unhealthy clinging grief. You just need to really mourn, get delivered of this and go on. I feel like God saying there is a time for mourning (which He has already said) and a time to let go and go on.

Seek Him and praying elders, bro. He will completely and totally deliver you from this and help you move on.

Love,
Mia
