Back at Home, Faceless Man and No Make-up

Post by blessed1 on Sat Mar 19, 2011 8:15 am

I dreamt that I was living back at home with my parents. I remember I was wearing a long white gown and was not wearing any make-up. A man, whose face I never saw, but can see that he has dark hair and what he was wearing, was visiting there and was in another room. I didn't want to see him, because I wasn't dressed yet and didn't have any make-up on. But then I went and looked in the mirror and thought that I didn't look too bad and it would be fine to greet him. So I went out of my room and said "hello" to him and my mother said he needed a ride to wherever he was going, so I went and got my keys. EOD.

Blessed, how did you feel in the dream?

Hi Connie,

At first, I felt confused, wondering why I was there without my husband and children. When I was concerned about not being dressed and not having makeup on, I felt reluctant, unsure and unconfident to come out and greet this man. But when I looked in the mirror, I then felt confident and was happy to give this man a ride.

I believe you felt that way because you saw yourself in the same way God sees us, Perfect in Christ. Romans 8:1 Therefore now there is no condemnation in those who are in Christ Jesus and walk not after the flesh but according to the Spirit. The Lord is giving you the confidence to walk in him even though you don't feel prepared to do so and this ride is gladly done because now you have that confidence. Awesome dream of encouragement from the Lord!

Love in Jesus,
