The Burning Sun (childhood dream)

Post by Love's child on Fri Oct 31, 2008 8:22 am

When I was younger the Lord dealt with me ALOT prophetically but I didn't necessarily understand it. When I was 8 years old I told my dad that he was going to get a church in 4 days and that it would be brown. I didn't know why I was saying it to him but I did. At the time my dad had just began pastoring (a few months) and we were in a building (but we didn't own it... but I didn't know that). Well in 4 days he was BLESSED with a church and it was brown. After that my parents started calling me there little prophetic child. I had occurences like that alot when I was younger and I also use to have the same reoccuring dream OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN. So I am going to share the childhood dream that I use to always have and did not understand. It is a dream that I could never forget but it seems like recently the Lord keeps reminding me of the dream and asking me questions about the sun.

So here is the very short dream...

The sky is really blue and there is a cloud that is somewhat blocking the sun and then slowly the cloud begins to move and the sun is fully exposed and the heat of the sun is sooo HOT to the point that I feel like it is burning me.

I would always wake up out of my sleep and my back would be burning up (in real life) from the heat of the sun in my dream. My dad would always come running in because I would complain about my back burning and I woud be sweating and he can witness to how hot I would be.

I have not had the dream anymore now that I am older but the Lord keeps reminding me of that dream.

I dont have the interpretation...but please pray on these scriptures...

Isaiah 18:4 says: This is what the LORD says to me:
"I will remain quiet and will look on from my dwelling place,
like shimmering heat in the sunshine,
like a cloud of dew in the heat of harvest."

isaiah 49:10 says: "They will neither hunger nor thirst,
nor will the desert heat or the sun beat upon them.
He who has compassion on them will guide them
and lead them beside springs of water."

James 1:11"For the sun rises with scorching heat and withers the plant; its blossom falls and its beauty is destroyed. In the same way, the rich man will fade away even while he goes about his business." I suggest reading the whole chapter...

Revelation 7:16 "Never again will they hunger;
never again will they thirst.
The sun will not beat upon them,
nor any scorching heat."

Psalm 37: 6 "He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn,
the justice of your cause like the noonday sun."

Isaiah 30:26 "The moon will shine like the sun, and the sunlight will be seven times brighter, like the light of seven full days, when the LORD binds up the bruises of his people and heals the wounds he inflicted."

Isaiah 60:19 The sun will no more be your light by day,
nor will the brightness of the moon shine on you,
for the LORD will be your everlasting light,
and your God will be your glory.

Matthew 13:43"Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear."

Psalm 84:11 " For the LORD God is a sun and shield;
the LORD bestows favor and honor;
no good thing does he withhold
from those whose walk is blameless."

Isaiah 58:11 "The LORD will guide you always;
he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land
and will strengthen your frame.
You will be like a well-watered garden,
like a spring whose waters never fail."

if these arent enough, there are a lot more...do a keyword search at biblegateway.com

hope this helps, love ya!
