reunion with Gato

Post by Deborah on Sat Feb 12, 2011 8:35 am

Last night I dreamed I was driving driving to a place where I lived irl for 12 years. The current owners of that townhouse had called me SmileyCentral.comand asked me if I would come get my gray cat, Gato, because they didn't want him anymore.
SmileyCentral.com
The townhouse didn't seem as well cared for as it did when I lived there, but Gato was so, so delighted to see me. I scooped him up in my arms. I have never had such a joyous reunion irl. huggins I carried him out to my car. It was now a convertibleSmileyCentral.comand it was a beautiful day. Gato sat in the passenger's seat and it looked like he had a smile on his cat face and I drove away.

Irl I don't have a short-haired cat named Gato. I love all animals, so I don't think Gato represented a demonic power as some might say. "Gato" is Spanish for "cat."

I don't know if this pertains, but just now I was doing a little research. "Gato" was a class of US submarines in WWII that were responsible for defeating the Japanese fleet. "Benson" the name of the street I used to live on (where the townhouse is) was a big ship also used in WWII.

In my very first post on this site, I talked about a dream where I was on ship that could act like a submarine; I was wondering if I'd dock in Australia like my dad wanted to back when he was in WWII.

Even the convertible--convertibles were first invented in 1922, the year my dad was born. I've been praying for my dad a lot lately--he just had knee replacement surgery yesterday.

If anybody could help me connect the dots, I'd appreciate it....

The cat symbolizes your father. Now the convertible can mean two things and I do not know which may apply. A convertible can be a revelation or it mean "uncovered" and to be without submission.
Hope this helps and I pray that you father will be fine.

I think I may have had at least a partial fulfillment of this dream. I'll put my actual experience today in bold letters.

[quote="Deborah"]Last night I dreamed I was driving driving to a place where I lived irl for 12 years. Today I drove to the ranch where I grew up. The current owners of that townhouse had called me SmileyCentral.comand asked me if I would come get my gray cat, Gato, because they didn't want him anymore. b]My stepmother called me yesterday and asked me to drive her to a hospital 4 hours away to pick up my dad because the hospital was realeasing him[/b]">SmileyCentral.com

I have never had such a joyous reunion irl. huggins I carried him out to my car. I helped him out of the vehicle. It was now a convertible I drove my Dad's SUV today so he'd have room for his walker, etc. so I wasn't in my original vehicle I used to get to the ranch. SmileyCentral.comand it was a beautiful day. The weather was uncharacteristically warm for the cold climate I live in. Gato sat in the passenger's seat My dad sat in the passenger's seat and it looked like he had a smile on his cat face and I drove away. He definitely was happy to get out of the hospital and smiled a lot today. Irl I don't have a short-haired cat named Gato. But my dad does have short gray/white hair. I love all animals, so I don't think Gato represented a demonic power as some might say. "Gato" is Spanish for "cat."

I think the show you watched the next day about Gato and WW2 was your reminder that the DREAM was prophetic and to pay attention to it. I believe its as simple as you being reunited with someone or something you love. Possibly adopting a new pet? when the dream manifests, you will have the same feelings in real life that you did in the dream. at least thats the way it goes with me.
love ya!!!
