RELIVING A DREAM IN EVERYDAY LIFE

Post by jaenmari on Fri Feb 04, 2011 5:09 am

HI
I HAVE A QUESTION

THE OTHER DAY I WAS WALKING IN A HALL WHERE OUR MUSIC TEAM HAD TO SET UP SOUND AND AS I WAS GOING TOWARDS THE STAIRS OF THE STAGE I WAS SUDDENLY RELIVING A FLASHBACK OF A DREAM THAT I HAD ABOUT TWO YEARS AGO. IT WAS AS IF I WAS INSIDE THE DREAM AGAIN, BUT ONLY FOR A FEW SECONDS. WHAT BRINGS THIS ON AND WHY DOES THIS HAPPEN? THIS SITUATION THAT I WAS IN DID'NT GIVE ME ANY RECOLLECTION OF THE DREAM EXCEPT THAT THE STAIRS REMINDED ME OF THE STAIRS THAT I SAW IN THE DREAM. THERE WERE NO OTHER SIMILARITIES THAT COULD BE DRAWN BETWEEN REALITY AND DREAM.

JUST WONDERING.

ANYONE?

This has happened to me too! Sometimes, something from my day the next day will trigger me to remember my dream from the night before. This is very interesting that the dream happened 2 YEARS ago! Maybe its an encouragement that you are on the right road for your purpose and calling...being that you dreamed of it so long ago. I like to think that with everything that God shows us there must be some kind of purpose for it. It could also be a attention grabber for you to start a journal or paying more attention to your other dreams you have at night, considering it seemed prophetic...

Just my thoughts....

Ephesians 2:8,9 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.

Yes, Daisy.

I read in a book called the prophet's dictionary that this infact is exactly that. these experiences are called prophetic triggers. It is to remind the prophet of the prophesy and also to imply that the season for the word to come to pass is around the corner.
