Ships in distress

Post by karenburns2008 on Wed Jan 12, 2011 2:17 pm

The past two nights I have had dreams about being on a ship. It is a big ship like war ship and the first dream the ship was sinking and in the second dream there was a a huge storm that was coming against it. In the dream of the storm beating against the ship, I was desperate to get the people off, and in both dreams the storm and sinking was happening at night. Any ideas? Thanks
Karen

Is a church you're attending or ministry you're involved in experiencing big problems?

If a person is new to a church or new to a geographical location, often that person is more sensitive to what's right or what's wrong there than someone who has been in the church/area a long time. People can become desensitized after awhile especially if there have been deep offenses which have caused their hearts to become hardened.

I think you're picking up on the dire straits at least one church in your area is in. I read somewhere that every day in the US one church closes. You obviously have a heart for those in these churches, perhaps you'll get to minister to them someday.

I was wondering if anyone could pray with me about this dream for an interpretation. Thanks

It was so dark, like the storm was happening at night. In the dream where the ship is sinking I was just standing there watching, not really an emotion or anything, in the second dream I was actually trying to get the people off the boat, but no one would listen. I have had a few dreams where I am trying to warn people about extreme dangers or deceptive practices going on, but no one ever listens to me.

Hi Karen,

Because you were just an observer, this dream does not show a negative implication in your part. But this dream of yours reveals a gift of discernment that you have, dont know if you know it already. And you have to use this gift to rescue people from danger regardless if they listen to you or not.
