red coveralls and Spanish class

Post by Deborah on Fri Dec 31, 2010 11:22 am

I had a dream last night that reminded me of a dream someone else on this site had not long ago:
http://miasherwood.forumotion.net/t10050-red-suitnu-job#53330

In my dream, I taught Spanish at a community college/vocational school. All the students wore red coveralls like mechanics wear over their clothes. These coveralls were not only red, but quilted and baggy, yet no one seemed to mind the dress code. Apparently everyone had to take a chemistry class that involved dangerous chemicals and the coveralls offered protection, even outside class.

I was wondering in the dream why I was teaching Spanish instead of German; I felt ill equipped for the task and as I recall, none of the faculty wore red coveralls.

Irl, I was talking to someone last night about new OSHA requirements for fire-retardant clothing and I speak very little Spanish.

Hello, Someone Else, laugh
Ah yes, I felt there was something to the teaching part of the dream too. Last spring I took a grant writing class at a local community college and felt like teaching someplace like that was something I 'd like to do someday. Thanks, Someone Else. :justteasing:

hmm these r my thoughts...
this is what i see in ur drm, might be wrong,,

spanish is u is a "foreign language" u will be at a position where ur teaching or ministring in a place u wud not expect. It will be foreign to u.. as u r not accustomed to it. its "NEW" to you.

the ppl wore red overals,baggy.. kinda like protection..
they r annointed ppl maybe, their past was tragic, worked with "chemicals" something dangerous...they wud need protection, which the Lord will do "red" annointing...
Just my thoughts...
thinking Bless You

Interesting, SisterinChrist, I think the "foreign" part might be literal, I have considered changing my address.

OSHA stands for Occupational Safety and Health Administration--a US government agency that looks for workplace hazards and issues regulations.
