Talking stainglass/ Facebook conflict/ feeling helpless

Post by Jasmine on Sun Dec 26, 2010 6:24 am

Did the title get your attention? Good! Two dreams.

1. I was in Isreal either the alleged place where Jesus was born or the alleged place where Jesus died. Both places have stain glass and was maybe a catholic place. It was a tourist place. I was with a catholic male friend (who does not exist in rl) and we were looking at stainglass art that was put up on the wall. It was Jesus at the last supper and he was talking to me how to pray. He said that I had to address either God, Jesus, or the Holy Spirit and I should be direct or specific and I should ask questions about stuff I don't know and to be persistant in my prayer than I can know about things that I don't know or understand (last part he shows me a picture of radiant blue stars. I recall seeing them in textbook in IRL).

2. I was in my room and I went to facebook and I a post by three kids that were insulting me. On said I was a fat lonesome. I was questioning if I should respond, but I was imagining being helpless and they would just continue to insult me. I thought I should let them run their mouths or get facebook to delete the post because for some reason I couldn't delete it. I felt helpless and vulnerable.

Ja, I'm Very troubled that you used deception to get people to read your dream...
Satan is the father of lies and we should not emulate him and his followers in the practice of deception to get what we want. Part of it is Control, which is witchcraft. When we try to control people we are using witchcraft. We as believers in Yeshua need to be the Light of the World, not the darkness of the world.
I think that you need to change the title of this post because it is does not portray Truth, which makes Yeshua look bad.
There are a lot of people that come on here that do not know HIM and they would say "look, even Christians lie, they are the same as we are, what hypocrites..."

I'm saying this in love huggins

Hi Ja,

I understand that you want to have a nice and attention-catching title of your dream, but your sisters in Christ are biblically correct. It is good to ask for interpretation or confirmation of the dream like as everybody here in this forum, in fact I do want my dream interpretation from others.

Anyway, here what you dreams mean.

1st dream, I believe God is teaching how to pray in His name because He longs to tell you wonderful things in His creation. He is teaching you how to pray, not in a religious spirit but through the power of His Spirit.

2nd dream, I think He wants to tell you that whatever your apperance is, He loves you so much, and this love does not depend on what others say about you. As a teenager you can not avoid mean boys and girls, so I think God is preparing or warning you ahead of time that in HIs love, you stand secure, He loves you regarless of your weakness.

He loves you so much!

in HIs love,

Owen

I agree with Owen and hind'sfeet and would like to add the following scriptures that came to mind:

Proverbs 29:25
Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the LORD is kept safe.

Psalm 27:1-2
1 The LORD is my light and my salvation—
whom shall I fear?
The LORD is the stronghold of my life—
of whom shall I be afraid?
