Dairy free diet

Recommended Posts

I am on day 3 of my latest attempt at a dairy free diet
I am eating stuff like potato pancakes/eggs/cereal with rice milk

Any ideas on what to eat?

Trying to see if there is an allergy causing eczema.

ok. I asked because there is a vegan wwebsite that i know of that has great recipes:
google fat free vegan. she has a google blog, a website and is on facebook.

you can substitute a lot of dairy with soy based products but if you're not a fan of soy, then it becomes more a decision to avoid dairy type foods..This morning I tried coffee with coconut milk instead of cow's milk....YUM!!

good luck! flower

Actually, I meant to buy some almond milk today to try it but forgot to get it so may try again tomorrow! I've heard almond milk is great with oatmeal. How is oatmeal milk?

Almond milk is awesome with oatmeal, it is lighter compared to cow's milk.
Oat milk is more concentrated and it is better to drink it separately, especially on an empty stomach, it has healing and nourishing effect if one has digestive problems or ulcer, etc. But you can enjoy it anyway.
In general I love oatmeal with water (I do not cook the oatmeal, I just pour boiled water on oatmeal and cover it for 5-10 minutes, I use old fashioned oatmeal) in the morning with a little bit of honey and lemon. I suggested oatmeal as it has cleansing effect on body, stomach, skin, etc.

I also used aloe vera juice to cleanse my body and heal my digestion system. By the way, our Lord showed me through one dream that I should buy and drink aloe juice and it has amazing effect on me.

You can also use various kinds of beans, lentils, peas in you diet, they have as much proteins as meat, milk, etc. You can make soups, salads. Also if there is eczema try to minimize processed food and eat vegetables and fruits.

Hope this helps flower

Well baby's skin looks so much better so I guess that means it was from the dairy likely!
That means we will be staying with the diet. My flesh is screaming for ice cream/cocoa/mac and cheese/
And I threw out some pants am losing weight!
but the eczema I had (in my ears!)is gone now!
