Knowing your dreams Mia, you'll discover soon (if not already) that two dispensers in the restaurant weren't plugged in.... lol! :justteasing:

Sorry, I don't have an interpretation - that was the first thing that came to mind....if not literal then two things in your life that aren't performing in the way that they should...the only other thing I would add is that you recently had a dream that involved two as well (the two different types of coins you found on the ground)...could there be a relationship?

Remember back in the old days when there were soda fountains? I came across this scripture today:

John 4:14"But whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a FOUNTAIN of water springing up into everlasting life."

Maybe God is stopping you from drinking something that is bad for you so you can partake of living water.....

Just yesterday I was cooking some of my famous chili. One thing I put in it is salsa. Well I was ready to put it in and I felt a nudging to put my home-canned salsa in in it instead of the commercial grade that was in my refirgerator. Well I reasoned my way out of that prompting. Guess what? That commercial grade salsa gave me food poisoning yesterday! I was so sick! It was a hard-learned lesson....

lola that is funny because I read the dream, I thought the same thing! I remember a dream Mia had which was similar to this one, in fact I had to look at the date to find out if it was a current dream!

Actually two side by side soda fountains.... complete units with eight choices each, both had out of order signs on the diet soda selection which was the only thing that I would drink.

Actually, Lurdys, this week I was finally approved for two types of school funding - grants and loans. The grants actually cover far more than the cost of school but the loans are so low I am considering using them for some things around here that would benefit from such a low interest loan. Two types of coins =) The gold coins probably represent the grants because they are worth more because I don't have to pay them back. The silver coins are still valuable because they will actually save me money that I would have borrowed elsewhere.

Wow, and that's why they were so plentiful on the ground because you'd have more than enough funding...God is sooo good!

Yep. God coins usually represent thousands. Both my hands were full and I stuffed them into both my front pockets.... I was wishing there was more lol But the gold coins and the silver coins true life value actually represent the amount of the award letter.

Two means confirmation-'at the mouth of two or three witnesses let every word be established'
the two confirmed that you are coming out positive.
water is life/sustainance. You are looking for something to sustain yourself in /for a cause.
Not getting anything out could mean that the results are not dependent on you or that you are not sure and doubtful!

Hey Mia!
I am sitting here at work thinking wow- the dream was completely literal by the last post you just gave! Now, why is it that God gives us dreams of things so simple as that. I once dreamt that my friend changed her hair do. The next day i saw her- it was literal- she changed her hair do! Of course before i saw her- i was wondering if the dream meant she had a change of mind or thought. But it was simply literal. Then I wondered why God would show me something of that nature- something so simple!

Re: Can't get a drink out of two machines

Things like this are for a few reasons:

God used them to deliver me - I posted this dream for the book that I am writing to see if people would get the same interpretations I did before I knew not to interpret dreams so literally.

About seven years ago, I began having dreams like this. I had dreams about not being able to get soda out of soda fountains, and it would happen the next day. I dreamed of small things that would happen in our churchís Sunday service, like problems with the microphones. I dreamed of big things, like my pastorís wife becoming very ill, and exactly what he would say to the person that he asked to cover him. I dreamed of a miracle pregnancy within our church and told exactly when it would happen. Daily I was seeing my dreams fulfilled in real life.

As I realized that I was seeing the future in advance, when a panic attack would strike I began to realize that I wasnít going to die today. Each time that I began to have a panic attack, I would think about dreams that I had had that hadnít come true yet and that would comfort me with the knowledge that I wasnít going to die today. As this continued to happen, the panic attacks became less and less severe, and fewer and farther between until they stopped coming all together.

Another reason - The following literal dream is a good example of a literal dream that is short and to the point with no spiritual message to be decoded:

The entire dream was about one minute long and it was about cooking for my grandmother.

At first when I dreamed this seemingly insignificant dream, I asked myself, Why do I dream about these mundane things? How will dreaming about cooking with my grandmother serve any divine purpose?

My answer to that question came several months later when my grandmother was in the hospital after being found comatose from a stroke. I was living in Texas at the time and my grandmother lived in New York. My grandmother was refusing treatment, was determined to die, and established a DO NOT RESUSCITATE order. She also refused an operation that she would die without. My family fell to pieces. They were told by the doctor that without the operation she would live maybe two weeks.

God immediately brought my dream to my memory with the revelation....she is not going to die. Suddenly the meaning became very clear. You will see her again and you will cook for her. †I totally received the revelation that she was not going to die and I shared it with my family to comfort them. Exactly as God revealed, she changed her mind, had the operation and lived.

The principle here is that God will bring dreams to your remembrance exactly when you need them. We donít always need to know what a dream means the day we dreamed it. Some dreams are meant for a future time. Exactly like my dreams show, when you are in a trying situation and you suddenly recall a dream that provides encouragement and revelation do not discount it! Receive the revelation the dream is meant to provide!

I meditated on the dream in the context of my grandmotherís illness and the awesomeness of Godís nature was completely reflected in the entire situation from start to finish. God knew my grandmother was going to go through this scare but He didnít worry me prematurely by showing me that my grandmother was going to be sick and recover. I didnít need to know all that in advance. All I needed to know in advance was that I would see her again and that we would enjoy our time together. By giving me this simple dream well in advance, and bringing it to my memory at exactly the right moment, God spared me unnecessary worry and gave me the perfect comfort in the midst of the storm. The dream was simple, comforting, and perfectly presented. It was a wonderful example of Godís love and wisdom. Through the dream, he said, Have faith. You will be cooking the in the kitchen with grandmother again soon.

Lastly, they are so you can recognize literal dreams from symbolic dreams so that He can use them like He did in the dreams above.
