Prophecy Concerning Romance

Love child I will say this rcving a prophecy about helpmate is a touchy subject. Now I will be honest I have heard from the Lord about my helpmate directly and I just happen to go to a rivival and this prophet called me out and he spoke what the Lord said. The only reason why I know he was hearing from the Lord because the lord spoke to me first because I had signs and wonders knocking at my door. There was a witness from the holy spirit. Although my helpmate has not arrived yet I believe he is for me. I believe you will know who your mate is because you have a witness in your spirit. God gives me prophetic words to speak into others life and The same voice that spoke to me about my helpmate also spoke to me about my cousin and my friend helpmate. So far my friend is married and my cousin is now dating this same man I prophes. So you have to ask god to kill your flesh and I would suggest a maybe 3 day fast about this matter. You should always seek Godly counsel. I would ask God for another confirmation from someone who does not know you. Usually God will give you another especially if this man is for you. So hang in there and dont throw in the towels so quickly. There one was prophecy I rcv that i was like oh no your lying but as I matured in Christ I realize the prophecy was true, because god confirmed it again. I pray this helps. At our church an elderly man was told by God that an elderly widow was to be his wife. He asked her out and told what he'd heard. She informed him that the Lord had NOT told her that she was to be his wife! The gentleman did not press his point. After some time had passed, The Lord DID reveal to her that they were to be married. They are a very cute and happy couple today! But notice that the Lord talked directly to the man and then to the woman. I suppose He might sometimes speak through another person, but it would not be wrong to say, "not unless He tells me Himself!" because He is totally capable of doing that if He wants you to believe it is really from Him. (couldn't resist sharing the love story of my friends though!)

um, definately God gives us a choice. He's not going to force us to marry someone. Also, he's not going to pick two people who arent compatible with each other without telling each other about it. (Im reffering to the book of Hosea where God tells him to marry a prostitute.)

but see, both of us were crazy about each other and the dreams i had about my future husband were prophetic and came to pass.... a lot of people have dreams based on their desires of people they know and hope its prophetic. i knew nothing about the guy i was dreaming about, but God did. God is so cool!

Hahahaha... I've had "known" three times who my husband was. I even had false signs and wonders thrown from one of them. Believe you me, when it is the desire of your heart and you know God is going to send you someone, the devil loves to play mind games.

Though I'm still unsure about the third. The last two times, I had one very nagging thing that I would change about them. Something very critical about their personality that I knew would never coincide with mine, yet I was convinced of the Lord that it was "them".

With the third, there was nothing I would change about the guy. I unfortunately broke down and told him how I felt. He is still my best friend, but he's married to his work.

I'm done with this mess. I know he's going to arrive sometime, but there's a war being fought. It says in the Bible that during war, anyone who gets married has to take a year off from the army to tend to his wife. I'm not taking any of our men off of the front lines right now.

Thanks for all the feedback... the Lord has given me peace about this situation and I know that it was a prophecy from the heart versus the Lord. The person was probably very sincere but it just wasn't the voice of the Lord.

Please don't marry him ;because ,someone told you this man will be your husband, and you don't like him. My pastor is a prophet, he told my sister, "don't let know man make you loose your mind again." My sister only had one boyfriend in her life time, and that only last for a month. However, everthing he told her happen to me. Is it possible they can prophesy something to you, that maybe for someone else close to you? I was there when my pastor prophesy this to her. She was angry and she felt embarrass. I was like girl you know this is not true, and you know he was talking about me. Prophets can some time make mistakes.

I am not saying the prophet is wrong, just pray about it.

lola21st took the words right out of my mouth. Prophecy is confirmation of what God has already given to you. Even if you don't agree with it.

Case in point - I visited a church (which I'm a member of now), for their Pastoral Appreciation that a friend of mine invited me to. The speaker was wrapping up her sermon and she pointed to the back and said, "Come here, baby. You with the pink on." I'm looking all around (knowing I had on pink but I wasn't expecting to get called out). So I went up to the front and she said, "That man you're trying to hold on to...God said you need to let him go. He's not the one for you."

I didn't want to hear that. I was in luuuuuuuuv with this man. I met him at the age of 14 and I just always felt he was my husband. When I tell you I got made with her for telling me that and I got mad with God for telling her to tell me that. I called myself was gonna stay out of church. And I did for about a month because I wanted this man . Baby, I was maaaaaad !

I said all of that to say this...you WILL know by it agreeing with YOUR spirit.

I had a really good friend of mine tell me God told him that I was his wife. Wanna know what I said? I said, "Well, He didn't tell me that!" I didn't say it to be mean or anything but God DIDN'T tell me that. I even prayed on it and sought God about it because I actually didn't want to miss out on MY husband (chosen by God) without consulting Him first. I didn't see my friend as my husband and God still hasn't told me he is my husband.

Another thing...I totally agree with what dreamster said...TOTALLY!
