RECORD EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!

I woke up during the night and recorded some dreams. I clearly remembered having a dream where I saw that I had been given prophetic words.

Then, a few hours later, right before church, God woke me up with a scripture in me as clear as a bell.

"There is a way that seems right to a man but the end thereof is death."

My initial thought was that it was about something that I was dreaming about but it didn't make sense to me because I knew that I would not think what I was dreming about was right so it just didn't apply. I didn't understand honestly how they went together.

While in intercession I was praying fervently that the Lord would deliver us from evil, etc., because I didn't know if He was talking to me and the thought that it could be me that He was talking to was agonizing to say the least because I do not EVER want to be on the wrong path. But I thought..... I really don't understand how these two situations even go together ........... I just didn't understand. The thought of being outside of His will sends cold shivers down my spine. Needless to say I was praying fervent prayers for me and anyone else that needed it.

All of a sudden I heard in my spirit, "My arm is not so short that it cannot deliver."

I was relieved immediately! It was so comforting to hear that. WHEW. We can depend on God. Because depending on myself was terrifying. I KNOW what I am capable of and that is terrifying.

When I went into the church service, the Lord was bringing both those scriptures back to me. I was thinking...... Okay...then that is for something more than for me......... HM, but it still doesn't make sense so I could go up and just prophesy those two scriptures or I could wait because it didn't feel anointed. So I waited. I told God if you bring it back to me I will go otherwise I'm staying seated. I felt the bubbling inspiration lift.

We finish praise and worship and suddenly, the Lord brings the bubbling inspiration back triple fold but I don't rush out because the pastor starts prophesying about deliverance. MAN. Okay. That's RIGHT ON THE MONEY. Next, she starts prophesying to someone who is considering suicide but she doesn't know whom it might be.

I instantly realize what it all means.

"There is a way that seems right to a man but the end thereof is death." Suicide seems like a good idea.

I go tell the pastor, "Right before you started prophesying about suicide the Lord gave me this scritpure, 'There is a way that seems right to a man but the end thereof is death, and 'My arm is not so short that it cannot deliver'. Maybe this person thinks they need to deliver themselves..............'

She released me to prophesy and the Lord gave me more..... I don't remember all of it but I remember the parts I've written all ready and ...................Run to My high tower....I am your Savior, I am your Deliverer, I am your rescuer. I will deliver you!

At the end of all this I was somewhat amazed that God hadn't showed it to me through a dream or a vision first because almost everytime He does. I found it strange and I can honestly say I prefer Him to show me it happening first because then I know it's definitely Him.

So then later that day, I am at home and see my recorder next to my bed and remember that I recorded dreams. I thought I knew exactly what was on there. That I had a dream that I was given prophetic words. And that was all.

This is what I heard on the recorder:

"I dreamed of being given prophetic words. I was looking for confirmation of those words and to understand the meaning."



That is exactly what happened today. He did show me it first. I just didn't stop to listen to it on the recorder.

WOW!! so amazing!! Mia, look how God works!! In my prayer time yesterday, I heard the same scripture: "Nothing is too hard for God, his arm is not short." Thank God that he delivers us out of every one of our struggles!!!

It amazes me the things God tells us in our sleep and we dont even realize it! Praise God for His goodness and for the invention of the voice recorder! Praise God for His word to the person who was contemplating suiside! Lord you are faithful! Your love amazes me!

Hello and thank you for sharing this. Please tell me how you use the voice recorder. I'm considering using mine for my morning quiet time with the Lord. I just started consistently devoting the first hour of my day to the Lord according to Matthew 6:33. My work schedule (commute included) requires me to hit the ground running so, for the longes time, i didn't feel that I could "afford" to devote an hour to the Lord. Of course, the truth is that I cannot afford NOT to devote an hour to the Lord. Anyway, the very first day that went to sit at the feet of the Lord, He started giving me visions. I've written them all down, but i think recording summaries would be much better. One day i had 4 visions in a row. I"m not sleeping, just kind of in between being asleep and being awake. This is all very new and very exciting to me.

You can buy one at an electronics store or a discount store. They range in price based on their features. Some like the one that I have sell for $20-$30USD...with these you talk into the recorder and it records your voice. You can then transcribe your dreams/vision later. This has been SOOO helpful for me because I tend to forget my dreams within minutes of waking if I don't record them or write them down.

Other voice recorders have a feature which converts the recording into a .wav file so that you can upload it onto your computer or mp3 player. These cost a bit more but enable you to keep a voice log - I guess that would be a vlog instead of a blog...

Hi Lola21st...I actually have a voice recorder of one of the types that you wrote. It records in .wav format and allows me to plug it right into the USB port on my computer. In rediscovering this device, I came upon some audio journal entries that I had made a year or so ago that contained the details of a dream that I had entitled Dream In Two Scenes Including Enlisting in the Air Force. I will definitely use this device going forward. I have to train myself to wake up and record my dreams right after I have them. Question: How did you train yourself to wake up after a dream to record it? Thanks!

I have it on my nightstand so when I wake up from a dream, I just reach for it and press 'record'.....my challenge is recording every dream regardless of how meaningless it feels...the enemy's tactic with me is to try to make me disregard the importance of a particular dream...I've found that these are the dreams to make sure that I record....

Lola21st, there have been times when I did not write down a dream immediately and I'd get up and go about my way and the thoughts would come, "Don't forget to write down the dream." and immediately after that, the next thought would be "It doesn't matter. It won't hurt to miss one dream. You have so many of them. You'll have another..." Sounds like the same kind of tactic is being used on me sometimes...Thanks for all your input. It's appreciated!
